Liège
G'day everybody.
I'm looking for people who may know sth about Liège because two friends and myself may be heading to the city in order to study there and basically, after looking around for a while on the Internet, are kind of lost of what is needed, where to find appartments and other stuff.
And because we have a big community from Belgium here I figured someone here could give me some usefull tips / websites or whatever.
Thanks in advance

Re: Liège
Here are some infos :
University of Liège :
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
There is a university residence near the campus on the Sart-Tilman : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
If you don't go to the university or if you prefer to live more in the center of the city, you can look for a "kot" (it's the way we call appartments for students) :
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
You can also find some informations on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
for example : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
And if you like to party, you will definitely go in "Le Carré" : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
More than 20 pubs in five streets
I don't know if it's what you are looking for. If you have more precise questions I can try to answer them.

Re: Liège
The best way to find a kot in Liège is just to walk around the city and to look after the 'to rent' signs... ;-)

There is a train station with a (slow) train going to Luxembourg.
It is a part of Belgium.
Am I now part of your 'people who may know sth about Liège'-team ? ^^

nah
Thanks a lot for all the answers
Short update: I'm currently doing my final exams and from the looks of it the initial plan could die, but I have a back-up plan (kind of) ^^
PS: Yes, I should go to Liège so the problem does not concern me directly.
