Guess the Regions, Win 2-100 gold

Meldrokes old thread looked pretty fun so I am going to make a similar thread where the regions don't all have to do with me but eRepublik itself. These regions are going to be somewhat hard to find out but with a little bit of research you should be good.

1. The First Region has been fought over countless times and was a major part of a war that took place in March (Research in Wiki).

2. The region where a very important man got his degree.

3. The region where another very "fashionable" man and important would have been born and raised.

4. This region of the Americas (meaning not just the USA) has the current lowest amount of population in comparison to other regions of the same country and in RL you can find geographical lands that are expressed in an adjective in this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iISyPz5XRyI.

5. The first region I ran for congress in... GL guessing that one...

Whoever guesses all 5 of them will win a 5g pot.

*Bonus Region* If anyone can guess this I will give them 20g, The erepublik Region where my great-grandmother would have immigrated from. (I am sadly American btw) Deep in the archives in eRepublik whether it be the forums, a Newspaper article or comment, or even a shout, is where you can find my ethnicity.
