Wassup eBelgium?
Hey there,
I moved to Belgium a short while ago from the US and now find myself involved in resistance wars pretty much from the day I decided to stay here. ^^
So yeah, I applied for citizenship about two days before Brussels fell, and I just heard about some people already questioning my motives. Maybe this thread will help in sorting that out, feel free to ask your questions.
For the biggest part of my eRepublik life so far I build up some autonomous organisations, worker's owned cooperatives and parties around the globe with a couple of comrades, which left me with a somewhat large food production complex at hand - that is also the kind of direction I want to go in Belgium as well: Getting involved with local politics (as opposed to the gigantic disco fest that make politics seem so ridiculous back in the States) and making a change for the better; that is: a change that benefits not the already wealthy elites in this game, but that will empower the little man of eR, the worker, the interested but inexperienced, those who want to make things happen. Democratic decision making in all aspects of life, including the workplace and trade, but without the risk of establishing just another form of oppression, money-robbing and the reduction of every interest to a personal, egocentric one, is what I'm all about.
So that's where I stand.
Hope to get to know you lot a bit better now. ^^

Now the questions:
- The day you asked cs I saw you had only 8 friends in 2 years. How is that possible, certainly for someone who travelled around the globe making all those ogranizations?
- Tell me more about those autonomous organizations you made around the globe (how, with what funds, where, how many workers, ... )

Well yeah, I imagined that to come up. ^^
It just wasn't of any use to have personal friends because up to the point of its forced deletion, we managed everything through our main organisation which had about 120 friends at the time the admins decided to abolish them altogether. We also ran an additional org which owned all our cooperatives and money and held the business together; that one also had about 30 or 40 friends. So there you go.
- Tell me more about those autonomous organizations you made around the globe (how, with what funds, where, how many workers, ... )
All of our orgs, papers, companies and whatnot were created with our own funds, and we go through a process of direct democratic decision making to agree upon anything - that's how we roll.
As to where we all went exactly to make things happen ... I guess northern America was our basis of operations for the most part.

Thanks for your answers
I still don't see what your personal e-friends and the one of your organization has in common. For me that's 2 different things so hard to believe but ok, that's your view on those things.
Why are most of your articles published in eGermany?
I see indeed the band between you and Escudero9191. Wim was also one of your "old" friends but can you tell me what's the band between you and this guy who requested (and received) eBe citizenship one month ago? http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/3233198

No, I want this to be clear cause I know how odd it all looks.
So again, we had this organisation and since we're an collective, individual friendships and so on aren't really all that common if you deal with other people mainly through orgs. Maybe it gets clearer if you imagine being member of such a commune and how you would deal with like-minded folks. ^^
But personally, I created the organisation that we used more generally and that originally hosted the newspaper I own now - and cause I tried what I can to build it up and spread the message and making other people join me. I directly e.g. talked to interested leftist through the org and also made other connections with parties in Europe mostly by using the same account. Again, it would be so much easier for me to get that point across if all the stats were still visible, but the Supmylo account practically didn't play a role while we still ran things through orgs.
Why are most of your articles published in eGermany?
That's because I started my eLife in Germany and at that time orgs needed to be moved individually. And since I knew that I was travelling around all the time anyway, I didn't bother to move it with me as well so it just stayed where it was created for quite a time.
The other org we had and that we used for business was of course moved around all the time, but that one didn't run a paper.

Sure. Lin0 and I have worked together ever since I can remember being engaged in eRepublik and the same is true for Wim. Now obviously as a collective we all travel to the same place because we still want to have that communal living thing going on - that's why we three are now in Belgium.

Sorry for being late...
Yeah, as far as I know that's it for our side when it comes to immigration.
So I guess I can now apply for citizenship again, or are there still open questions/problems with my persona that we should clarify before?

It depends on the immigration status because of suspected thread by israelian. But for me (his request has expired) it's better for him to ask again and an analyse will be done again because he presented himself here. But i'm not a congress member or ministry of immigration.

Re: Wassup eBelgium?
Well can't say he's been really talkative and calling that begging is just nonsensical.
Moreover :
1. we're having very strange cs requests these days from eIsrael players
2. in addition to the other potential ePolish PTOers
-> so we're monitoring immigration pretty closely and that takes time.
I can't use it to think about players who applied but who never gave any news afterwards, though I'm trying my best to be as thorough as possible.
Yeah call me an elitist power-hungry capitalistic freedom-killing monster for this, my pleasure. ^^

In psychology that's called "projecting". ^^
I already told you I needed more than a single message to get to know someone. Supmylo hasn't talked very much, as already said.
By the way, I'm not the only one involved in immigration... we also have a MoHA and another under-secretary to immigration, not mentioning CMs. If I was being totally unfair and blinded by "hatred", I guess they would just fire me and get someone else. ^^

Re: Wassup eBelgium?
I call this bad counting... count sup's reactions.
I think you have a shortage of the hormones vasopressin and oxytocin, those hormones ensure the proper functioning of the social memory, a malfunction in the production of these hormones can lead to bad social behavior and is partly caused by a deficiency of one piece of DNA, the DNA directs the production of those hormones. It is known that People with normal production of oxytocin have less fear to be deceived and have more trust in other people!

Thanks, so far it has been a pretty exciting stay with all the fighting going on. ^^
To be honest, I find it somewhat interesting that people say I'm not talkative when as far as I remember every question asked here has been answered by me... But yeah, I also didn't have much impetus to write since immigration has supposedly stopped, right? ^^
If you want to screen me TSA-like, feel free to do it. I have no connection to Israel whatsoever, I can't even think of any Israelite I might have talked to at some point - the same thing goes for Poland. If anything, the first months of my eR career in Germany have taught me to despise the Polish regime and its minions.
Generally it sounds like people still think I'm about to plan some major kabbal conspiracy or something just because I'm not a centrist and apply for citizenship ... So what are your questions?
