Rum was flooding and judges were drunk !
The crew was trying to wake them up and get them out of their puke, but it's not a 100% sure that the results will come tonight.
Hard to tell, maybe yes, maybe no !

Re: The Arena
We received 3 texts. Here they are :
We have decided that :
- the "most original text" goes to All TOgether (Jofroi)
- the "most convincing text" goes to ULA (NLSP) - even though it was a close call, and that we almost decided not to call any winner for the "most convincing" one.
So, the results for this test are :
- BfB, BBH, Citizens : 0 point
- BCP : 10 points
- ATO : 20 points (10 + 10)
- ULA : 30 points (10 + 20)
Global score :
More news soon for the third test !!
- From Monsieur Guillotine:
- eBelgium... the land of liberty... the land of freedom... the land of community.
eBelgium has been around for a long time, and there is no secret to why we have been able to withstand all foes. It is the devotion that every eBelgian citizen has that allows us to achieve the impossible. I know in many eNations, the choices you make define the course of your eLife, but not here. Oh no, not here in eBelgium. Our country is so diverse, with all kinds of people with all kinds of different opinions.
Among the seven seas, where else would you find a pirate, drinking his bottle of rum on the shores of the beach? Where else would you find a communist dictator stepping through the rubble of a city he has just demolished? Where else would you find a French angel, mothering her children to the safe side of liberty? Where else would you find a King and Queen, majestically sitting on their thrones, manipulating their followers? This is all allowed in Belgium, and that is why I love this country so much.
You are the one in control of your own destiny, and no one can stop you. If you want to be a cunning thief, hiding all of Belgium's treasury, go for it. If you want to be a intelligent troll, flaming everyone around you, go for it. If you want to be a cold-blooded politician, taking out all possible opposition, go for it.
And so my friend, why is it that Belgium is so great? Well of course it is just not the freedoms that make it such a great place... it's also... the WAFFLES!
Yours Truly,
Monsieur Guillontine
- From NLSP, messenger of an "ULA's anonymous ghost writer":
- Belgium, the land of hugs and cookies
Once upon a time, a person asked me: "Why is Belgium such a fantastic country to live in?" I was first terrified when I heard the question and I wondered if that wasn't obvious then.
After some time an understanding came to me. The things that are present in eBelgium and that all of us are taking for granted are acquired tastes.
Let's start with the occasional hug. Our national IRC-channel has become the place where real life strangers have found each other hugging (just before the occasional kick )
Whenever you join, if that is in the early morning when you are just out of bed, or when you are just home after a hard day of tanning on the beach, working under that retarded boss of yours or during your break in studying some of your lecture notes. The hug is there to welcome you and to relieve you partially of your troubles.
When this is even not enough, somebody is always willing to give you a cookie to help you feel a bit better.
However, this is not everything. While our welcome committee looks like your personal stalking club that overloads you with affection, you can find also the total opposite in eBelgium, your own personal nemesis
We have a strong tradition of extremelyunimportant but vivid debates that go to absurd levels. Tell yourself: cursing that one asshole that blocks your legislative initiative cause you made a procedural error, that is fun guaranteed isn't it?
Who doesn't like to be part of that friendly bickering, can just watch and enjoy. Our forum gives some nice entertainment: besides the legislative debates, some active (or not) forum games, the occasional shadow vs. admin fights and many welcome topics from newbies.
But all this blabla doesn't matter in the end.
What matters is that we are a small but tight community with strong personalities. And while you not always will appreciate everything or everyone in Belgium, there will be players here that will become good friends. Some stop for some time, some go to another country for some time, but they will all stay in our heart.
In the end, when it matters, nothing what happened can change it. We stick together and this makes eBelgium such a fantastic country!
- From Jofroi:
- Inspired by “The Iliad” from Homère (http://www.literaturepage.com/read/theiliad-2.html, not the same version than the one used to write that text, but similary )
English
Sing, O goddess, of this small eCountry whose determination, intelligence and pride preserved in a world of fury.
All was set from the day it was created: union would make strength. Players from the Dutch and French speaking communities would unite to support eBelgium, with the help of brave foreigners who would join its values of brother and sisterhood, independence, neutrality and help to the others.
But first and foremost, they would unite for fun, for all would be here to play a social game. Nothing less, nothing more.
Come closer goddess and look its members. Amongst them, you can meet many strong characters with a special aptitude for which they are celebrated.
Behold eBelgium's proud warriors who fight for its glory in the eworld. Vulcain, Thomasred, their exploits are known from Hades to Olympus... or at least from Charleroi to Antwerpen.
You cannot either not see this generous elf, helping the weak and the newly come to climb up the stairs leading to glory and wealth (no pleasure ladies and drugs allowed).
Cast now your gaze upon its congressmembers. Many of them come from abroad, yet eBelgian citizens do not hesitate to elect them for the know their different interests hare being taken care for.
Debates may be harsh and passionate sometimes, but the most precious gift given to eBelgians is their ability to express themselves, even though the majority does not approve of them. Democracy is not a shallow notion for them.
Moreover, in spite of its dissensions, its small community allows members to deeply know each other and to laugh and joke with them. From times to times, some joke may not be shared by everyone... but did not Gods gave stability to eBelgium ?
In dark periods when anger rages, the country still stands, for the purpose of the community is to still maintain it. A strong foreign policy does not show to the potential enemies the weakness a country might encounter.
Here is the eulogy you ought to sing, sweet goddess, for in spite of its size, eBelgium is an enjoyable place to be.
(P.S : Now if you could just thunderstrike Shadowukcs and smite Jofroi, it would just be great. I'll owe you. Thanks.)
***
Merci.)

Re: The Arena
This was only the beginning !
The second test just got finished. And yet some teams showed tiredness. But others were fiercely fighting for the first place and to defend their reputation ! Everything had still to be done...
After having left the arena, Elynea and Jery came back to their tent and spent the whole night to prepare the next test. They made a few pauses to share a bottle of rhum or to abandon themselves to some physical lust. And at dawn, the third test was ready.
They convene once again all the different teams. The third fight could start !
The third test will be visual. A puzzle will be revealed piece by piece. The goal is to be the first to discover what or who is on the puzzle.
Everyday, we'll reveal two pieces (around 9.00 and 21.00, but these are not "precise hours" - Brussels time). The puzzle is made of 15 pieces. It's up to you to find the name of what describes the puzzle (objects, people, events, places,...).
Each team can give one and only one answer for each time a new piece is shown (twice a day). A non-given answers canno't give the right to give more answers afterwards (if you don't give an answer, you canno't give 2 answers at the next piece). Only the delegates can post their team's answers, and they must be posted directly on the topic. An edited post will not be taken into account !
Let's start !
You've got to find a person.
Good luck !

Bonne chance !

Here's the third piece :
Change in the rules :
Everybody can try to give a name, not only the delegates. But still one answer per person and per each piece. To know which team got the points, I'll watch in the real game in what party the winner is. It's 10 points for the good answer.
