commercial practice
Some days ago, i bought a very expensive q4 weapon (the buyer will maybe recognise itself).
It was the only offer and i clicked the wrong button...
I was a bit disgusted but i did the mistake so i didnt ask for refund.
I decided to do the same to get money back.
If others do it, why should i not to do it too?
For several days, i didnt sell anything but saturday it worked.
The buyer contacted me to refund but i probably wont do it.
I could if there was a kind of gentlemen's agreement about it but i dont think there is.
Maybe he'll react cause he uses this forum.
I'd like to know your general point of view about these kinds of practice.
FYI, there is actually a lot of offer of this kind on the market for any q (weapon and food).
I just counted (mine too) and the combined amount is 20.528.982 bef!

Re: commercial practice
Hello i'm new at this game but ...
You put the price you want to sell it. Regarding taxes (13.5% something like that; if someone could explain to me how is made the calculation it'd be cool), regarding taxes i said, when you buy at 32 (i'm a q6 buyer), if you want to resell because you run out of money (as i did wo days ago), you have to put it around 34/35 to get your money back. Which is really high. But it's ok regarding the fact it helps to keep away speculators.
But with that system, of course people will keep prices quite high as they cannot re-sell. Maybe revizing taxes could be a sollution but the state would get less money (blablabla ^^).
Or are you talking about "strange offers", like a Q6 weapon over 50? I don't really know bout q4 prices as i don't run a rocket industry (as i'm new :p).

Re: commercial practice
I'm talking about offers far above the "normal" market price.
The mine for example is set to 5000 bef (as the one i bought too).

Re: commercial practice
Ouch! Owned! Yeah seems bad regarding "rare" stuff... But well it's hard to regulate those prices i guess

Re: commercial practice
well, most people put the price that big, so nobody would buy it
if you want to save weapons, the only method to not use them, is to put them on the market.
If someone's buy them, he made a rather big mistake and I think it is upon your own decision if you want to reimburse him or not.

Re: commercial practice
I agree with NLSP! I do put things really high when I want to same them. But I have never had anyone want to buy them.

Re: commercial practice
well, force-feeding a police officer a molotov-cocktail, so he has internal burn-injuries and 87% invalid, puts you, even as a minor, in jail and costs you s*** of compensations and damages.
That was also an expensive lesson to learn ...
(now I know, make sure the person is dead, cause it cost you less money)

That is a little weird that that even comes up.

Re: commercial practice
no, it is common knowledge!
There is a reason if you accidently hit a person and that person is heavily injured but not dead, to drive backwards to hit it again

Re: commercial practice
you have to make sure however, that nobody sees you doing it, cause the charges go from
involuntarily assault and injury (if the person lives)
involuntarily assault and injury with the dead as consequence (if the person dies)
or involuntarily manslaughter (again if the person dies)
to homicide/murder (if the person dies and someone saw you driving backwards to hit him again)

Re: commercial practice
haha! You have way to much time to research all this. I bet you know the years for each too and cost.

Re: commercial practice
To get back to the issue, legally, you are certainly within your rights. I probably would not have taken the same approach to this question. I happen to know who is involved in this transaction (second hand private communication), and I understand the other party's distress about it. If it were me, I would not have made the offer that way to try to recoup my losses, and I would have made the refund if asked. However, that is your choice, and your right to do what you see fit with your own weapons and money.

I can't even understand what this topic is about, given the lack of grammar in the first post. :/

Re: commercial practice
It is indeed your own choise if you will give back the money but I you also know that nobody wants to buy a waepon of that price and it should be a mistake.
Think if it happens to you what do you want that happens.

I also saw those high prices and always wondered why.
So I learned something here
learned even something more, think twice before clicking

Re: commercial practice
Actually it happend to me.
And my opinion was (and it's still) that it was my mistake.
Maybe it was a trap or not, i dont know, but I made the click and I took responsibility for it. That's all.
As Gibberish said it's a lesson to learn and it's really what i'm thinking about.
I expected other people to react the same way, but I was wrong...
So I'm going to repay to close this case, it will be a lot easier.
And sorry for my lack of grammar...
