many of the ppl in there are barely active on the forum or are ppl I've never seen.
let's hope that they become active and actually do something.

No Mikhail, I'm not going to be lured into a match of verbal ping-pong with you.
You lost this time, maybe we lose next time. That's the game.

You know Adrien not everything someone says here is an attempt to lure you into the dark side of endless discussions. Mikhail just made a joke.

@Jonathan: the discussion was started already before this post.
But I'm willing to see your point. It is hard to determine when someone is joking or not on a forum, unless smileys are used.
But point taken

Yeah, I was actually joking. Res will be put to rest as me and Xgentis have agreed on it. It won't succeed at all because no one wants to join it when they can join a party that bases its orientation on a sound made by people when they are having sex.

you know very well the game, and we had 6 parties, normal to check your party before elections, and more in this situation because you had 13 members and ULA the same. You can blame ULA to have one member more.
It wasn't the 23 but the day before, i was surprise for that.
But this post it's to say congratulations, nothing else.

7 days later
18/30 congressmen active. (Wolfenn, Robert, turbopunk and Archoz signed in, but aren't active)
That's just over half.
Maybe next time, in stead of blocking other parties who put active congressmen up, wouldn't it be better if ppl worked together and actually tried to get active congressmen in, in stead of pleasing inactive noobs?
just a thought...

I don't agree with shad. It's not fair to say that Wolfenn and Archoz are noobs. It's not fair to accuse us of blocking if his own recruitment efforts fail.
Congratulations to all who were elected!

So you rather see a party member who is in it for the gold or the medal and be inactive get in congress then a active members of the community who will participate in in congress discussions?

that is also the reason that I have helped put people in congress who where not in my party.
However it is absurd to claim that it was anyone's intention to block out RB. It was the intention of multiple parties to NOT get blocked out, but there where only 2 parties who didn't succeed at that.

yeah but you forgot one thing, you gave citizenship to a man (congressman too in one week with strategic votes) who tried a Ne with our good friends like eNL and eUK.
I prefer to see inactive several congressmen here, but active in votes in game like this one who made troubles

EBelgian citizens voted for them, didn't they ? So it's democratic and there's nothing we can do about it.

There is a lot of tactical voting done the last 15 minutes before daychange.
That has nothing to do with democratic voting

And again a poor tentative of shadow to start over a new war here. Seriously, the week he wasn't here was one of the most peaceful weeks since the creation of the forum. Admins didn't had to give one single warning (or I missed it ).
I don't believe in coincidences.

are you implying either of them have done much as congressman lately? Or during all their time on this forum for that matter?

you are right. I don't really blame ULA as I would have done the same.
The real problem lies in the fact that our perfect political balance was destroyed when someone decided to make a 6th party in stead of running for PP in one of the other existing parties (where he could have easily gotten the PP seat with a little help/effort)

funny, I thought the same when ward was banned.
Maybe, just maybe, next election we can decide in advance which candidates we're going to run. Decide with all parties combined who are active and set up a communal tactical voting team... that is, if ppl get over their mistrust issues with each other and can agree on all candidates. (maybe objective remarks like activity? forum posts?...)

Communal tactical voting team? Why not just all joining the party of Volsem (just an example) and do tactical voting there? I don't have a problem with that.

Having one main party in the country would work fantastically. Everyone would have the chance to get in and the party can run 10 candidates per region, lets do it!

Re: Elections september 2011
I have been a little bit less active since three days, now i am back.
I completely agree... we should evaluate who is active or not... and vote knowing that.
Becoming congress member is not only taking five gold and saying thank you - good bye.
