Rings as the final competition of the day.

First one is Nohjis. And that's one big failure. He has a lot of problems with keeping his moves fluent. 10.760

Then Jamster737. An OK exercise, but probably not enough for a medal. The same goes up for Fhaemita Malodorous. They both get 14.900 points.

Critically takes first place easily. Some great moves there. Only a fault with his landing. 16.500

Zodiarch tries to do better than Critically and he succeeds! Only just, but 16.900 points are enough for a current first place.

aVegan gives his best, but the rings are nothing for him. 11.200 and a motivating applause for him.

Monsieur Guillotine... and that was just perfect. Great exercise with 17.850 points as a result. This will be very hard to beat.

Goopypants can't even hold himself up for five seconds and falls down every time he tries. Disqualified.

Cotarius is the final gymnast. NLSP tries to bring him out of concentration, and it seems it has had effect. Some minor mistakes give him 16.200, NLSP has been given a fine: no more alcoholic drinks and a treatment in a psychiatric centre.

Podium:

1. Monsieur Guillotine
2. Zodiarch
3. Critically

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (6xG, 4xS, 2xB)
2. Cotarius (5xG, 2xB)
3. Monsieur Guillotine (4xG,4xS,1xB)
4. Fhaemita Malodorous (3xG,3xS,2xB)
5. Critically (3xS, 5xB)
6. Jamster737 (3xS, 2xB)
7. Nohjis (1xS,3xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Math: 45% agil, 30% pow, 10% speed and stam, 5% accu

Tomorrow: the athletics tournament starts of with long jump in the morning and the 1500m in the afternoon.

The king Baudoin stadium is the scenery for the athletics competitions. First competition is long jump. Only three attempts will be performed.

First attempt

Everybody is still looking for a good form. Cotarius has currently the best attempt with 7.45m. There is still room for improvement. Jamster737, Critically and Monsieur Guillotine have no result yet, as they went too far on the board.

Second attempt

And Critically takes over the lead with 8.25m. Fhaemita is a close second with 8.14m. Monsieur Guillotine still has no result, his last attempt will be crucial.

Final attempt

Monsieur Guillotine has a result. 8.01m and third for the moment, but there are still 5 participants. Cotarius can't keep up his first good result and ends up with 7.77m. Zodiarch takes first place! 8.56m! Nohjis isn't part of the competition and ends up with 6.98m. Fhaemita can't improve. Only Critically left... and a fault!

Podium:

1. Zodiarch
2. Critically
3. Fhaemita Malodorous

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (7xG, 4xS, 2xB)
2. Cotarius (5xG, 2xB)
3. Monsieur Guillotine (4xG,4xS,1xB)
4. Fhaemita Malodorous (3xG,3xS,3xB)
5. Critically (4xS, 5xB)
6. Jamster737 (3xS, 2xB)
7. Nohjis (1xS,3xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Math: 45% power, 10% speed, 10% accu, 15% agi, 10% accel, 5% rec, 5% refl

The 1500m participants are ready for the start.

And there they go for 3 and 1/2 laps!

Everybody is able to follow Zodiarch the first lap. It seems a tactical race.

But Nohjis doesn't want to, he speeds up and only few can close the gap Zodiarch has let. I can see Monsieur Guillotine, Jamster737, aVegan and Fhaemita Malodorous.

Only five left for three medals with 2 laps to go. And there goes Jamster737! aVegan fails to follow. Jamster737 completes one lap at a very high speed. Now it's Nohjis again, that's not very smart.

The final straight! And they all go over Nohjis. It's Monsieur Guillotine first! Oh no, he falls back! It's Fhaemita Malodorous who takes it.

Podium:

1. Fhaemita Malodorous
2. Jamster737
3. Monsieur Guillotine

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (7xG, 4xS, 2xB)
2. Cotarius (5xG, 2xB)
3. Monsieur Guillotine (4xG,4xS,2xB)
4. Fhaemita Malodorous (4xG,3xS,3xB)
5. Critically (4xS, 5xB)
6. Jamster737 (4xS, 2xB)
7. Nohjis (1xS,3xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Math: 35 stam, 25 speed, 10 power, 15 rec, 10 accel, 5 refl

Tomorrow: 110m hurdles

110m Hurdles!

Let's hope nobody breaks a leg or something like that.

They got out of their blocks!

Best start is from Zodiarch...

Fall from Goopypants... And he accidently tackles aVegan too!

Still Zodiarch...

Jamster737 is coming back...

Zodiarch wins!

Podium:

1. Zodiarch
2. Jamster737
3. Nohjis

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (8xG, 4xS, 2xB)
2. Cotarius (5xG, 2xB)

Look out! The javelin competition starts.

First attempt

Critically opens the competition with an amazing throw: 89.23m. No one is capable to beat that this attempt. So far all athletes and officials have survived.

Second attempt

That's it, Cotarius killed a bird. Bad luck for the pigeon. In the competition the standings remain the same, as there was a lot of wind this attempt. Zodiarch is second, Monsieur Guillotine third.

Final attempt

Fhaemita came close: 89.10m, currently second. Monsieur Guillotine isn't able to pass that. But Zodiarch throws 90.88m! Critically will have a hard time beating this...close...90.79m! Bad luck.

Podium:

1. Zodiarch
2. Critically
3. Fhaemita Malodorous

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (9xG, 4xS, 2xB)
2. Cotarius (5xG, 2xB)
3. Monsieur Guillotine (4xG,4xS,2xB)
4. Fhaemita Malodorous (4xG,3xS,4xB)
5. Critically (5xS, 5xB)
6. Jamster737 (5xS, 2xB)
7. Nohjis (1xS,4xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Now the competition where some twins in Belgium are very good at.

They all went out of their blocks well...

A very good start from Zodiarch. Nobody seems to keep up with him.

What a run from Zodiarch, just unbelievable! The rest of the field is +/- 20m behind.

Halfway now, who wants to beat Zodiarch has to accelerate in the last corner, or it's an easy win.

Only 100m to go. Still no change.

And Zodiarch slows down! He can't keep it up. Now Jamster737 is comming...

It's Fhaemita who beats him right on the line! That was a crazy last 30m from him.

Podium:

1. Fhaemita Malodorous
2. Jamster737
3. Nohjis

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (9xG, 4xS, 2xB)
2. Fhaemita Malodorous (5xG,3xS,4xB)
3. Cotarius (5xG, 2xB)
4. Monsieur Guillotine (4xG,4xS,2xB)
5. Jamster737 (6xS, 2xB)
6. Critically (5xS, 5xB)
7. Nohjis (1xS,5xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Math: 60% speed, 10% pow, 10% stam, 5% agi, 5% refl, 10% accel

Tomorrow: High jump and shot put

Early competition today: high jump.

The starting height is 2.00m.

Fhaemita Malodorous and Goopypants were not able to clear this height, what a shame. Nohjis needed a second attempt, but eventually he clears it.

2.10m

Now Nohjis is out, and aVegan is having trouble. His third attempt... he missed! He's out too. Only 5 athletes remaining.

2.20m

That's it for Jamster737, he had problems with lifting his feet up on the right time. Everyone else cleared the bar with ease.

2.30m

And the medal winners are known. Critically failed to clear the height. It will be Cotarius, Monsieur Guillotine or Zodiarch.

2.32m

Hmm, Cotarius skipped this height. MG and Zodiarch are able to clear it.

2.34m

That's it for Cotarius. His performance falls back to 2.30m, but he has got the bronze medal.

2.36m

Zodiarch failed!

Podium:

1. Monsieur Guillotine
2. Zodiarch
3. Cotarius

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (9xG, 5xS, 2xB)
2. Monsieur Guillotine (5xG,4xS,2xB)
3. Fhaemita Malodorous (5xG,3xS,4xB)
4. Cotarius (5xG, 3xB)
5. Jamster737 (6xS, 2xB)
6. Critically (5xS, 5xB)
7. Nohjis (1xS,5xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

Math: 30% agil, 20% pow, 20% accu, 10% accel, 10% refl, 5% speed, 5% rec

The strong men are once again getting ready.

Will they be able to beat favourite Zodiarch in the shot put competition?

Attempt 1

Some nice performances to start with. Critically threw 21.15m. he's first, just before Fhaemita Malodorous (20.95m). Monsieur Guillotine threw 20.50m.

Attempt 2

Still no performance of Zodiarch. Is it possible he will lose a powerful event. Goopypants dropped his weight on his foot, hopefully he'll have gotten better tomorrow. The table is unchanged.

Final attempt

Stop dreaming, Zodiarch threw 22.45m. Critically almost attacks him, in a joined attack with Fhaemita Malodorous. NLSP cheers from the stands.

Podium:

1. Zodiarch
2. Critically
3. Fhaemita Malodorous

Medals:

1. Zodiarch (10xG, 5xS, 2xB)
2. Monsieur Guillotine (5xG,4xS,2xB)

7. Nohjis (1xS,5xB)
8. aVegan (1xB)

The marathon is underway. Who will take the final and most prestigious medal?

With just 10k done, Critically and Zodiarch are out of chances to win a medal. They lost the group early.

Meanwhile NLSP runs sometimes next to the athletes, all dressed up: pirate, Borat, beer bottle, werewolve (hint, hint), ninja and finally as an Irish leprechaun.

And yet again some athletes can't keep up: Cotarius and Nohjis. It's a very high pace, made by, surprise, Goopypants. Only 15km left.

And aVegan increases the pace! Goopypants follows. No immediate reaction from the rest of the group.

aVegan is alone with only 5km to go. Goopypants falls back a bit.

Now in the stadium... aVegan entertains the crowd with his final metres.

Fhaemita was able to pass Goopypants, Jamster has beaten Monsieur Guillotine in the final sprint. But that was only for 4th place.

Podium:

1. aVegan
2. Fhaemita Malodorous
3. Goopypants

Final math Sad : 55% stam, 15% speed, 20% recup, 5% power, 5% accel.

And so the Games come to an end.

The final medal standings:

According official standings:

1. Zodiarch (10xG, 5xS, 2xB)
2. Fhaemita Malodorous (6xG,4xS,5xB)
3. Monsieur Guillotine (5xG,4xS,2xB)
4. Cotarius (5xG, 3xB)
5. aVegan (1xG,1xB)
6. Critically (6xS, 5xB)
7. Jamster737 (6xS, 3xB)
8. Nohjis (2xS,5xB)
9. Goopypants (1xB)

According to number of medals:

1. Zodiarch 17
2. Fhaemita Malodorous 15
3. Monsieur Guillotine 11
Critically 11
5. Jamster737 9
6. Cotarius 8
7. Nohjis 7
8. aVegan 2
9. Goopypants 1

I hope you enjoyed it and thanks to NLSP and Procuste for the support... and drinks.
