Since he set the order before the votes were cast, that seems a little unlikely. Razz Although I will admit putting mine last tends to skew things, as I do not tend to go along with the crowd. I actually did like almost all the songs here, so set my own criteria for which ones I like best, and I am really grateful for the exposure to some music I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

@Boklevski , Nohjis and MaryamQ - the votes were presented in order of appearance (the same order they were presented to you before the voting process started). How I get to that order? When you subscibe, I gave your country a number (for ex. - in eBeSC I gave number 1 to Belgium, because cooke4444 subsribed first, than number 2 to Turkey because MaryamQ subscribed second...). That numbers were presented to you when I was announcing which countries are taken! Before the presentation of the songs, I shuffled the numbers from 1 to 13 and the array was: 7, 4, 8, 10, 12, 1, 6, 13, 11, 3, 5, 9 and 2. That was the order of presentation of the songs, the same as the order of presentation of your votes! There is nothing political in it Wink

@Nohjis - you are more than welcomed to join (as I already said before)! If not, I will start to believe that you don't like music at all Razz

P.S. And I am happy to announce that we already have 3 subsciptions for eBeSC #3! Two of them are from new players cheers I guess our company is getting bigger these days!!!

Try to settle down in UK, or Brazil, or Mexico, or Sweden, or France, or Germany... - they have great music scene. You'll never win with American Samoa, Vatican and/or Djibouti!!! And don't you dare to skip an edition! We will miss you so much, that our chances to die will increase. Sad

Music is in most cases not compatible with the environment I play in.

At work I access with "no sounds".
In my car it's difficult to use the internet.
At home until everyone goes to sleep I'm required to pay attention to my wife and/or kids who usually don't let me do something for more then 5 minutes in a row
-> quiet sound as the pc is in the same room as the tv
-> no headphones as I have to pay attention
At home after everyone else goes to sleep, I'm usually just finishing up the 20 different things I started to do.

But I do like music and I do find this a great contest !

Razz

[EDIT] Well, I might not have been right with the exact places, but with the exception of Finland, they ended up more or less in the right spot (most with 1 or 2 places difference)

I have a problem. I am looking at a song that is about 50 years old. Although the composer is well known and is clearly associated with the country in question, it is not at all clear who originally performed it. The ones I think might have done it do not have a good video on YouTube, although the audio is fine. Do I have to pick them, or may I pick another artist (also well known and associated with the song) with a better video?

UK... Spain... France...

Nope, neither of those can be NLSP's choice, so he still needs to find some obscure country... Razz
