Money Market Empty Money Market

Post by Olv007 2012-03-22, 22:07

Just saw that there was... 5260 offers on the Money Market to exchange BEF for gold.

Does that mean that we see now all the offers of the e-world, making it almost impossible to exchange local currency for gold?

There is no more a local currency, only gold and a kind of global one.

Jep changing money is almost out of the question now. I propose we set up our own offers on the forum. create a sort of black market for the ebelgian people who want to change money. Like this people who need gold and people who need currency can help each other and everything stays in eBelgium.

you don't need to change money, and with the global exchange the rates should be as "reasonable" as possible.

by buying gold on the market, the gold seller may be polish, argentinian, whatever.

It actually means there is far more liquidity than before.

Yes there isn't a liquidity problem but if you want to change BEF to gold your gold almost never gets sold. If we organise this on our forum perhaps eBelgians can benefit from it. I'm not an economic expert so perhaps I'm missing something.

That is because you can sell your gold within minutes. The exchange market to sell your BEF for Gold is completely useless.

If I want to buy 10.000 BEF, I put a Gold offer on the market and sell within the first minute or so at 1,6-1,7x the rate you're offering on the other market. If you want to buy Gold, it'll only be possible at the inflated prices, it's the new market reality.

well just before your offers expire, they come on the top of the list.
Many people want to do some gold training just before/after daychange and notice they need some gold (or that is what happens for me and what I think also happens for others)
make sure your offer expire just before/after daychange

or maybe the gods are rewarding me for being such a lovely character Smile

Just checked, and there are around 582 pages (10 offers per page) of CC for gold at a rate of 0.001.

As was said, the best way to sell BEF for gold is to post an offer right around day change. When your offer is about to expire, it ends up at the top of the list. Problem is you can only post one offer and it has to almost expire before its at the top.

Oh well.
