Decrypt me

Post by wazowzky on 2012-06-05, 21:10

Here is a new game with weapons as reward, 5 Q5 weapons, it's not a lot because this first one is easy but if you like play this game the difficulty will increase and the number of rewarded weapons also

The aim of this game is to decrypt an encrypted message
the first who post the decrypted message is gaining the weapons
If you have questions or suggestions they are welcome

first message (reward: 5 Q5 weapons):
Code:
cqnh cqjc ljw pren dy nbbnwcrju urknach cx xkcjrw j urccun cnvyxajah bjonch mnbnaen wnrcqna bjonch wxa urknach
knwsjvrw oajwturw

index:
-the text is in English
-there is no punctuation, no number
-no decryption key needed

they that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither safety nor liberty

PS: nice to take the one from the statute of liberty, but I like more the one from 'Pennsylvania Assembly: Reply to the Governor' on November 11, 1755:
Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

right, second one was a different message.

should tell folks what decryption method you used, the first one is a polybius square

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polybius_square

second one needs to be decrypted Razz

Easiest way is to take the string, divide it in half

IWIHEECONERILECE
FINTELTITHEWLBAK

and read down right up left down....

need fixed width font, hence the scytale-ness

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scytale

but, as the voice said... the cake is a lie!

will think of another one Very Happy
