Dear ambassador: I'm looking at the world map but I can't see where eSwitzerland is!
Is it time to restore your eCountry, isn't it?

Yes. We are currently having some discussions with our allies to work towards a free eSwitzerland
Hopefully we will have at least one region before the congress election date.

Re: Embassy of eSwitzerland
Thanks for your thanks, glad to be here
Update on ATO efforts:
PP elections went surprisingly well for Switzerland, with 7/8 parties held onto (as opposed to 5/8, how many we had before). Among the two regained, one is a top 5 party, and the other has been restored as a top 5 party. The PTO party is also in the top 5 which is bad, but we're in a much better state than we were before.
There are two groups of PTOers in Switzerland right now; one Romanian one led by Cronoss (which has been a widely known problem for almost a year now) and one Hungarian one led by Tyxy. While Cronoss (now known as The Troll Warlord) is here to stay, we're hoping the appropriation of the party the Huns appropriated will encourage them to leave
I was also elected PP of my party; thanks to the Belgians who left kind and supportive comments in my election \o/
blah blah Hail Belgium, Hail Switzerland, Hail CoT, Hail Renouille \o/

Re: Embassy of eSwitzerland
Because you're a beaver, I will answer you...
One week before, an appeal to candidates is launch (actually it only happened this month :p )
There's each time a limit date for voting. This month, its the 1st of august. Voting are by pm (could be actualy done on the forum as the Swiss Liberal Party is doing <3 )
So the votes are known the 1st and the candidate has direct support from trusted parties.

New month, new cabinet!
CP - Jason Welsh
Official Swiss Watchdog - Rican
vCP - Sgtchewy
MoHS Parties - Csabo07
MoHS Elections - remi.remi
MoFA/DoE - Alexandre Walen
vMoFA - Sally Trotter
MoD - Benjamin Doverton
vMoD - Trogdorthetroll100
MoD Advisor - Lansizzle
MoF - Glarner
vMoF - faucoult
The status of Switzerland is much better than before: we are working with Italy, France, and Croatia (and to some degree Austria, it's unclear) to get revenge on Slovenia for their many, many misdeeds. I truly believe Slovenia is the most bully-like (yet unrecognized) country in eRepublik, right next to Serbia.
Excited for further cooperation between us and CoT and everyone, etc. etc.

Re: Embassy of eSwitzerland
News: no news, we have no congress which we didn't anticipate happening at first but we now have an agreement with Slovenia.
Long story short, we'll be paying them 5k CC a month for two regions which sucks but hey, being regionless for 3 years gets boring.
I believe rebuilding after our crazy spending on wars these past few months will be a huge focus when we finally do get a congress next month (assuming the Slovenians don't flake out, which would be sad but not entirely uncharacteristic). It really depends on who becomes the Slovenian CP.
Always a pleasure reporting here ~

Re: Embassy of eSwitzerland
I hope this agreement will be honored by Slovenia.
And thanks for the update.
And thanks for the update.
Re: Embassy of eSwitzerland
Thanks to many great friends (including several from Belgium ) we have freed Graubunden and we're now taking a field trip to Alberta, Canada where hopefully we'll stay as long as we can pay, which shouldn't be a problem especially since we'll be able to get our economy in check now.
For congress elections, we must have a region at 2:00 today (already passed), 0:00 on the 25th, and 6:00 on the 26th. If the AS goes successfully, we will have our first congress since I was e-born
I know you all want to move to Switzerland of course. I'm not sure how we'll be handling mass immigration (because it's bound to come, duh) but those who want CS I believe will be interviewed by our CP Alexandre Walen.
Hail Switzerland, Hail Belgium, Hail CoT!

Re: Embassy of eSwitzerland
I conveyed your messages to the cabinet a few days ago and our CP and MoFA (as well as Dill and Rican ) and the rest of the cabinet say thanks
Congress update: We're happy to say 100% of our congress is not PTO (well, according to most people). There's one person that some consider PTO but is more just a political enemy (Asmadi).
Our Speaker of Parliament was elected by the congress and is Trogdorthetroll100. As far as congress members, there's 4 from the Anti-Imperialist Movement (AIM, the majority group in Switzerland), 3 from the Swiss Freedom Party (SFP, the main opposition group; it's very different from Paul Proteus' SFP btw), and 1 from Advance (Alex Walen's party), Samuel L. Jackson Party (dillpickl's party), and the Popular People Party (PPP, also known as the best party in the history of eRepublik).
There is a bit of healthy political turmoil here, which I'll try to explain: There's a bit of a spectrum; on the left there's SFP, loosely supported by PPP, and on the right there's the old AIM, loosely supported by Thedillpickl (though I don't think he'd admit it, but he never disagrees with them so). Alexandre Walen (our CP) I believe is pretty much in the middle.
I sort of just rambled since it's late and I'm procrastinating homework haha
Hail Belgium, Hail Switzerland, Hail CoT, Hail friends!
(And Hail Lady Gaga's new song Venus oooooooomg it's so good! Instead of spending money on eRep next month just buy her album )
