welk it's your own fault if you fall for these phishing sites. I see a lot of these sites being spammed. It's useless to warn for one spefic site.

i don't see why we can take care about several friends. You can see, i didn't put the real link.

If several persons are stolen, it's normal to make a warning about that.

Now i agree, if in the game a lot will not spamm those links, we wouldn't have problems.

I suppose what Fhaemita said was more : you need to write an article about pishing & being cautious, not about a link in particular which will disappear if it stops working & 10 other will open. It won't really help people if they only are suspicious about this specific site.

Bottom line is, don't trust anything that sounds to good.
Also always watch out for stupid spelling or grammatical errors.

I have saved my pass on erepublik, so when someone give me link of somethink I see if there isnt my pass to get in. Easy way to protect yourself.

I've done this after the first time I got robbed from phishing site (2 years ago), didn't clicked on any phishing link recently, never logged in at eRepublik if there is no autofilled username and password...

...and still, I got robbed once again two days ago. If you don't know about that, I lost over 8000 CC and over 160 golds, plus some food and weapons. Don't know how they stole all of that, but fortunately the admins responded positively to my tickets and gave me back most of the money I lost.

Being careful sometimes doesn't help. That means that we should be even more careful than just not logging in if it is not autofilled with username and password.
