FRW Discounts?

I am looking to start buying Food Raw Material buildings (Suggestions on which are welcome).

Are these ever discounted? If they are discounted, does it apply to gold and BEF buildings?

No the dicounts for factories are only for upgrade your weapon and food factories

They did a special offer once or twice on raw companies but I wouldn't hold my breath and wait on these offers if/when they come again

It happened indeed twice, but it is also possible that there won't be any new for six months or so.

As it has been pointed out.
It does happen that some promo action on the companies acure.
But it is practically impossible to predict.

If you intend to produce for yourself only(to have the raws for own food-consumption), you shouldn't have the need to have more then 5 FRW companies(probably less if they are of high Q-level).
