Playing Other Games Together

Greetings fellow friends.

There was a similar discussion in the OB Chat ingame a few weeks ago, but I'd also like to ask everyone here if you play any games that might be worth playing together.

This could be full games, like shooters and whatever, but also online games, hell if someone of you is a Dungeon Master, why not some Pen and Paper roleplay

Maybe we can get together online and play some games as a game group and extend the community a bit

well I play Clash of Clans so if others are interested I can create a clan for all of us.

Yeah the discussion didn't ended that good because we didn't found anything to play together ^^.

I personally play some online games with some players, but could be fun if we play with a great number of players one game.

I think World of Tanks could be a nice game to play together, not much skill, not a lot of storage / capacity needed, and fun to play.

I could make a free mumble server if we're a lot

Problem is that you don't really have that much interaction on it. When you play a pc game, it's fun to talk with your teammates, and so ...

Playing WoT quite a bit

I'm also playing WoT a lot...

I used to play WoT earlier, I could play again

If people are interested in trying a pen and paper roleplay game (tabletop RPG) via IRC, I'd appreciate if you could tell me here.

I would act as Dungeon Master and we would play a very easy game on a day where we all have some time, at least a few hours.

I would send you the character specifications and the rules and also the setting. The more players the better, however, we could loose track if too many players are willing to join, but I am sure we can arrange sth.

If there is interested, please answer here and I'll start developping the initial story that we will be using.

PS: The setting will be in the 1600s, in Texas

Well, the basic story is that you play as de la Salle, a French Explorer, and his companions who are sent to the new world to explore and create a colony. There are some basic stories in the rule book, but I am currently writing sort of my own story and slightly changing the rules.

You, the players, would play either de la Salle or one of his many companions (which you would create yourself, let your imagination guide you there) and together you would go through my adventure.

You could encounter a friendly native tribe that you can stay with or you can encounter a spanish group of soldiers that are out to kill the French explorers, etc.

The most important part is from 12 to 24 and page 38 to 40. If you need an example on your character you can look some examples up on the pages 31 onward.

The rest is unimportant for players and just concerns the Raconteur.
