An Apology

Greetings.

I wish to apologise. A few weeks ago, while I was still Minister of Finance and Economy, I simply vanished without a word. Though I made sure to still finish the production cost tables for the raw material companies I already neglected updating the finances spreadsheet daily and eventually I ceased all activity on here and in eRepublik itself entirely.
The reason I am not full sure of. School started again so that my daily rhythm was thrown off and I became more busy, my grandmother was buried which took a while to process, and I generally spaced out on a grand scale. Nevertheless it was extremely unprofessional to simply fade out of the picture without a word, leaving tasks undone, failing to pass on anything useful to my successor in the job, and so on.
Though it cannot fix my mistake I wish to apologise to all whom I have disappointed.

I will probably not return to eR though. I have not visited the site in weeks, have become generally too busy to keep up with everything, and don’t see much of a point in simple two-clicking. Maybe I am going to visit the IRC channel once in a while, however.

Again, I am very sorry.

We've all been there at one time or another, it's perfectly normal when you've been playing as long as we have. I have done the same when I quit last year.

Sometimes taking a break for a couple of months might bring you back rejuvenated and enables you to put things in perspective.
