Monthly Conference

What about a monthly conference in The national chatroom of eBelgium (http://www.erepublik.com/en/chat/open/33)or IRC.
Where we can discuss easily about
-Future plans
-Elections
-what we did wrong and wich we are gonna correct

I would prefer this shortly after / before the elections cause it's the perfect time to see what we did wrong or right and to discuss about elections .Also for future plans everybody can take part in that Conference thenhttps://ebelgium.forumotion.net/tutorials-and-useful-links-f13/irc-channel-connecting-t682.htm

Yes, that is better. Thank you. That is an interesting idea. Let's hope we see some other comments about this.

I think it is an excellent idea! Not only would it be fun and useful for people in government, but it would also be a great way to get new players acclimated to IRC and acquainted with their government. I have seen similar things happen in other countries and they were very successful.

Okay, I'll forgive you then.

/me slaps Theneka and MaryamQ for off-topic hugging... (yes, that IS a crime - especially when I'm not included )

Anyway, it sounds good! Back in the UNL days, we had something like that once with ThomasRED (as CP), and citizens could ask him whatever they wanted. It was a huge success, actually!

However, if every active citizen of eBE starts talking at the same time, it will be a mess... (and I know we don't have much active citizen, but it still will be a mess! I've seen government discussions with 8 people taking hours because of it )

I'd say IRC is best suited for it. That way, you can mute people, and only give the government (for example) speaking rights. When someone wants to ask a question, they can PM the moderator of the channel, who will give them (in turn!) speaking rights to ask their question.

Anyway, just throwing in some experiences... do what you want with them

This is an excellent idea, it helps make sure the country learns from any mistakes they make to make sure they don't happen again, I'm all for it!

I would prefer this the wednesday /sunday before the presidential elections elections cause it's the perfect time to see what we did wrong or right and to discuss about elections .Also for future plans everybody can take part in that Conference then.

Each conference will be hold on 9 :00 PM GMT

if the votes are good next conference = 3 november

if the voting reaches above yes

Can someone post this in debate area as i'm not a congress man i can't do that

I'm not sure this really needs to be in the Congress debate area. It woud not really carry the force of law, I think. We have a diverse community, and there are some people who could never be there. I, for instance, am always working at the stated time on Wednesday.
