[GD]Help Our Macedonians Friends!

Hello,

Today, a macedonian ask me to shout, comment, vote his article : http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/emacedonians-fight-for-euk-and-phoenix-1203783/1/20. As you may know, Macedonia isn't on the map. They helped us in Belgium and they are true friends of severals countries in the World. Please : Vote - Comment - Shout

as if that is ever going to happen. I must have literally seen a zillion petitions like that in all the time that I'm playing this game. Not one has ever been taken serious or by the admins.

I signed it, but it's wasted time if you ask me. Not to mention that we all know what happens to newly founded countries ingame.

excuse me for being cynical, but I've just seen too many of those fail to believe that it will ever happen.

Shadowucks, Erepublik added some countries in the past ( Serbia by example). So, I think it's not a problem to add Macedonia.

Greece's region called Macedonia isn't the true countrie of Macedonia. You can also see here : http://www.erepublik.com/en/region/Moldova . That doesn't mean Moldova isn't a country. There is a region called Moldova and a country called Moldova. That's the same for Macedonia.

For the evolution of the game, it's needed that new countries are added to the map. Like the article states, it's not that they are creating something in a wasteland. It's worthy the try, but on the other hand, chances on problems are big.

Macedonia used to point out a region in the Ottoman Empire that was divided between Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria after the Balkanic Wars. The Serbian part got independant in 1991 (1992?) during the collapse of Yugoslavia. Greeks decided they wanted to act childish and refused to recognize the country under the name "Macedonia". This "name conflict" is still not resolved, that's why Macedonia is sometimes referred to as "the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia".

This is a serious issue IRL. Greece is blocking Macedonia's entry into NATO and EU because of this.

Anyway, I hope this stupid conflict won't get in the way of the creation of eMacedonia in eRepublik. I've seen a lot of Macedonians in eRep and they deserve their own country. Voted!

They deserve for sure to have their own country and at least to try to keep it running. They have my support.

We are much more organised from you when we arrived to belgium.And the only reason we are here is to help.
We now are 300+ players(active) and 200+ not so much active two clickers and when we will be added we are going to have a very big babyboom.Ads are going to be put on site's that have more then 1 000 000 visitor's every day.In the first days we will have more then 3000+ players.And yes you are right we will be taken over from hellass the first month but then you will see the power what we have.
Now from those 500 players 400 are 18 lvl+ and we have 20 FM and 85 Generals.
So i hope you will be on our side(PHOENIX)

Bwa, they already have more active players than eBelgium, and the Serbs might help them out against eGreece in the beginning. As I understood, V2 will welcome a couple of new countries, and eMacedonia might just be one of them (although it's only based on rumours). The more countries the better - I hate those greay areas on the eMap.

eMacedonia or eFYROM , would be a good choice for the next country , there are quite a few macedonians hanging around eRepublik.
But i can see a rivalry between eMacedonia and eGreece if they am made , probabley resulting in babyboom's in both countries , based on RL difficulties.
It'll be intersting when it's created.
