Selection eurovision candidate.

The french speaking radio vivacité will select 15 candidate and they will compete later in a TV emission.
Well I am pretty afliged by what I heard Belgium will lose for sure they sing false and those who sing in english sing in an horrible english it almost hurt.

pity, the walloon TV often sends out some people who make a chance (Urban Tred anyone?). We'll see.

Belgium ended 16th with Tom Dice in public poll but the jury putted them on the 2nd place, wich caused them to get to the 6th place

The one with the most neighbours wins anyway.


It's always the same anyway. usually it's "Eastern-European countries banding together", "UK thinking they've got a great song and finding out the rest of Europe thinks it pure s***", "Belgian newspapers saying that international trend watchers think we will deffo be in the top5 and eventually end up in the last 5", "Bart Peeters (god I hate that guy) ruining the show with stupid commentary, some country sends an opera chick, another country sends a heavy metal band with weird masks coz they think that if they do the same as Finland a few years back, they might win this year, ...

You forgot "the four countries who bring a boy who sings an emotional ballad", the country that "brought a band with their local funny guy for the lulz" and "we're a boysband from some easterneuropeancountry".

And you forget the: "we-pay-this-whole-thing-countries-but-send-bad-singers-wich-causes-us-to-invest-money-for-nothing"

Nope, it only counts for England, Germany and France as they pay for everything

Acually, it's UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy. And we're not intending to put money into this, it's just an unfortunate side-effect of the EBU.

Also, Eurovision is awsome in the UK because the commentry is hilarious and just takes the piss out of all the acts.

Thats because they have nothing else to do, their act sucks anyway and they loose whatever they do
A waste of money, they should stop putting money into it

Dude, no one pays directly for this, the networks pay for their membership of the EBU, which then funds the Eurovision Network. The networks get other advantages out of it (like Olympic and World Cup broadcasting rights) and Eurovision is huge for ratings so it's by no means a waste of money for anyone.

Also, no one cares about the music in the UK. We know our acts suck, as do the majorty of the others. The reason the commintators take the piss is because all that's all the public do aswell.
