they've taken the last strategical aspect of the game imo.

Surely this increases the strategy? Instead of fighting against a blank wall we have to conserve our fighting all the way through instead of just unloading t-5

Well it gives a lot more fight
So I guess it is good for real wars and for TWs
TWs can be won more easily by simply asking to attack in the last minutes and the side that has to win can unload their damage at the start, the losers in the very end

+1 it'll really be nice for TW, but bad for 2 clickers^^.
