Changes day 1304 - an interesting take on the situation by Croy Empty Changes day 1304 - an interesting take on the situation by Croy

taken from http://eusaforums.com/forum/index.php/topic,8880.30.html

There was speculation that the admins were going to remove the market from the game.

Effectively, they did. Virtually all players without employees in their company will eventually stop selling products and will use them instead. However, some may purchase and extra 30 or more companies to cash in on the rising market, and give up 1 or a half of a 6 hour wellness usage. This will happen, but not on a scale big enough to make up for all those who will be under-producing *therefor not selling any goods).

Profit margins will possibly go down for players that hire employees, since they will likely be eating more food and using more tanks each day, reducing the number of goods that can be sold. The smartest thing for most business owners will be to "trade" work with another business owner each day (as many possibly already do). This would mean you work in a friend's food or tank company for $1 a day and they work in yours, allowing each person to produce and extra company''s worth of (hopefully Q5) food or guns.

The biggest problem becomes producing enough food for everyone. **The major implication of this change** is that your timer will not start counting until you eat down to 0 wellness left. This means if you have 500 wellness left to recover and you only have 300 wellness worth of food you will have to either purchase more food or wait until the next day to work your job (for money) or work as manager to produce more food. This is not the case with weapons, as one can fight barehanded just fine. This means all military communes need to immediately focus on food production with as much as 80% of their commune balance on food and the remaining 20% on weapons to be given only to soldiers.

Pegs around the work have already begun to recover. I was able to scoop up about 160,000 of various global currencies at a rate of 1G=1000 currency. All of it has doubled in gold value already by today. I believe that it will continue to gain in value probably moving back towards 1G=200CC for most countries, but I am not money market expert.

I expect prices to continue to rise, especially as producers realized that they can use stuff every 6 hours (many havent even logged in to find out yet, some wont for a day or two). People that made a ton of money over the last few months will continue purchasing max goods each day as there is little else to do with currency. The government (military) will likely purchase a new stockpile and will be either increasing purchasing of RMs or even finished products.

Government revenue will shoot up, at least in the short term, even with the recent tax changes, as salaries and prices are increasing. Government spending will begin to rise as well with bigger budgets for both the military as for domestic food programs.

A week ago, tanks were king. Today, food is king. If I could have anything in the world (assuming it would work flawlessly) it would be to have a unified military group for the whole United States with a unified IRC channel and a giant army of QMs always online to fulfill food requests constantly. This will likely never be plausible, but because food is based on a 6 hour timeline instead of by *reset* we need to start being creative. Perhaps MUs will allow dispensing. Dear lord I hope so.

That's all I can think of for now.

They need to change everything back to V1.

Do you really prefer the old war module? The problem with the military module now imho is unlimited wellness packs means RL $$$ wins every time. I think the module is superior and more fun than v1. Today's change is the first one in a long time I approve of as it solves overproduction.

If they now would limit WP, stop changing the game w/o notice, and make the game less buggy overall it would wipe out most of my complaints.

Yes, in v1 I was actually interested in the game.
I prefer the old war module, the only thing I disliked was the lag that would occur in the last five minutes.
I remember losing a BH medal because of that Very Happy
I find the game becoming worse and worse with every change. This one wasn't horrible, but I do not see it as positive, it is just implemented to off-set their other changes which ruined the economy worldwide.

honestly the only good change they did was for the brief time they made a mistake, and everyone was able to put music, and pictures on their profiles.
The game itself is pure s***, I only continue to stay because I like the communities outside of the game.

I only read about half of that but I think I got the jest of what's going on... Remember when V2 came out and everyone flipped absolute sh*t because it was complicated, buggy etc? Now Admin is taking it the other direction, make everything so simplistic that any fool can survive... We're now in a hippy's dreamworld... Cept with more war...
