This is more of an outline of how I think the forum should operate:

1.) The Constitution should only apply to in-game dedicated parts of the forum. Namely, Congress and the government.

2.) The Constitution should be a handbook on how to operate Congress, the government, and other in-game national creations.

3.) The Constitution will not be a rule book for how the forums are run.

4.) The Constitution can only be changed by Congress.

5.) The forum shall be ruled by a different set of rules other than the Constitution.

6.) These rules shall be determined by the current admins.

7.) The admins are chosen by a general consensus of forum members who have more than 50 posts.

8.) The admins have a two month term and there can only be a maximum of three admins to a term.

9.) The forum's rules can be changed at the administration's will, but only if there is an obvious want by the forum community.

10.) An admin's term can be terminated early and be replaced if he/she has abused his/her power.

IMO, this allows greater flexibility for the forums overall and is not bound by useless, outdated, role-playing crap.

Although I don't agree with the maximum term that is really bad imho.
Forum administration needs continuity not every two months somebody else.
No s*** with terms of 2 months and maximum terms.

Oops. I meant that there can only be 3 admins at a time.

EDIT: Oops again. I missed the point of your post. Well, I chose to include term end dates so we can replace admins we no longer care for, but don't want to wait until we see them abuse their power to do so.

7.) 'general consensus' and 9.) 'obvious want' as a way of voting seems pretty, well, ... silent

And why introduce in 10.) a constraint ('... if ...') that is currently not present?

Can you please review the Forum Moderation Act http://www.erepbelgium.com/t4336-forum-moderation-act and do something from there? I think it's time to put this thing to rest, though. The admin team does excellent work, and they will soon be helped by Congress-appointed Forum Moderators.

The reasons for those points are to allow greater flexibility within the forum. It allows easier change and hopefully (it will) not allow something like this to happen again for a looooooong time.
