Should we do more to help new citizens in eBelgium?

We need to come up with an idea to attract new players. eBelgium is just like Eastern Europe in real life; the population is decreasing very quickly. The population of eBelgium has decreased by 200 in the past 50 days, and the number of eBelgian citizenships by nearly 500! (http://ereptools.net/census/demography/c/Belgium) The total experience has also been decreasing - this means that we are losing high experienced players. Looking at ereptools, we can see that almost all emigration is to larger countries that are involved in war. We should sign MPPs with bigger countries so we can fight in more wars.

First we have a TW so we can fight everyday

And the people we lose are mobile voters of EDEN/PHOENIX, so it is not that bad.

Mobile voters only move a couple of days beforehand. Look and the graph and you'll see that the population had dropped for 50 days now, which is how long the graph goes on for.

From the site: "Citizenship and level charts are incorrect due to problems with server used to update NEW citizens. I've changed this server two times and finally it works. From now on (857 erepublik day) the data is correct. "

So only the last 6 days are accurate. Until we have a better idea there's no need to panic. But it is always good to think of ways to get and keep new players.

The demography is not alarming: we have only 11 citizens less than previous month in the same period. But the total experience has drop down: it means that the experienced tacticals belgian has been replaced by newbies who are real belgians. So for me it is more a good news than a bad news. Wink

I think you might like this I made.
It's the evolution of eBelgian citizens since 27/03 (4 days ago). I'm going to update this every week.

Yup something like half of people with Belgian citizenship are tactical voters, losing high experience players is a good thing. We only want high experience players if they are committed to Belgium. In which case they wouldn't leave Very Happy

The average is 10/ day. For to have newcomers, it'snecessary to make publicity. (babyboom, i don't like this word)

For informations, i don't think newcomer don't have that. Automatic message, forum, newspapers... and in the governement, they work a lot to make private message in organisations too.

The problem is : foreigners who come to vote and then go away and lose the nationality.
A project to have news players in this country will be nice with a good information.

As you all may be aware the newly formed Ministry for Education has set up a mentoring program where people can sign up, currently only 3 people have signed up, please do sign up and start helping the reform of our education system.

You could refresh the mentor list of the previous mentoring program ( http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-moha-adopt-a-newb-1258425/1/20 , the private MoHA section should provide more detailed info), to see who's still active as a mentor and what they have been up to lately Wink
