Post by Markus Bell 2011-11-01, 04:40

Hello eBelgium.
ThomasRed recently recruited me into the BAF, i am waiting for my uniform avatar to be created and once that's done ill be an official proud member of BAF.

I lived in the eNetherlands for most my life, worked in politics, mainly finance/economy etc.
Worked as minister of finance for a couple of terms and lead the Independant Party with Daniel Parker, which was once the Libertarian party.

I moved away from erepublik for around 6 months having started full time work.
Now that im back i felt like a move was in order so have decided to make eBelgium my new home.

Now wheres the chocolate? Very Happy

Quick question - does anyone know: is it possible to keep party membership in Belgium when becoming a foreign citizen? For instance I see a person on our markets of whom I assumed he was Belgian, Milos Senior Okiljevic http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/2660676 , but in fact he's Serbian and still a member of the Belgian Communist Party. Just wondered, because I thought one had to give up party membership (certainly the congress seat at least) in order to become a foreign citizen.

You used to be able to stay in the party but they changed that.
I am pretty sure that I had to leave the party when I wanted to request citizenship in eUSA.
