reporting for duty
Hello eBelgium.
ThomasRed recently recruited me into the BAF, i am waiting for my uniform avatar to be created and once that's done ill be an official proud member of BAF.
I lived in the eNetherlands for most my life, worked in politics, mainly finance/economy etc.
Worked as minister of finance for a couple of terms and lead the Independant Party with Daniel Parker, which was once the Libertarian party.
I moved away from erepublik for around 6 months having started full time work.
Now that im back i felt like a move was in order so have decided to make eBelgium my new home.
Now wheres the chocolate?

How did you know?
But yes, really frustrating. When i came back to erep i planned on returning to Netherlands but decided against it. My application was going to expire today too but got accepted at the last minute.
Back to being eBelgian now though

his NL application is pending - it reads: "Sorry to apply for citizenship so soon since the last one. I have made my mind, i'd like to stay here and help out with politics now. Friend of daniel parker, worked in government over a year ago. " ...

Pretty sure it is.
But I don't think even Rowan changed his citizenship 3 times in 24 hours

Re: reporting for duty
Quick question - does anyone know: is it possible to keep party membership in Belgium when becoming a foreign citizen? For instance I see a person on our markets of whom I assumed he was Belgian, Milos Senior Okiljevic http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/2660676 , but in fact he's Serbian and still a member of the Belgian Communist Party. Just wondered, because I thought one had to give up party membership (certainly the congress seat at least) in order to become a foreign citizen.

You used to be able to stay in the party but they changed that.
I am pretty sure that I had to leave the party when I wanted to request citizenship in eUSA.

Re: reporting for duty
I do have a problem with it and I say it right in your face!
Just like I do have a problem with you complaining about the loss of a partymask, when you leave a party for a concurrent party...

Re: reporting for duty
Seeing Markus has left the country already and the topic is going offtopic anyway I'll just close this topic.
