[BAF] A farewell to Arms


Dear BAF Soldiers and Belgian Citizens,

After several months spent as Soldier and High Command member, the new General Betafoxtrot and me have decided that it was better for the Belgian Armed Forces that i take a step back from the Army.

We have met some difficulties to agree about the way to manage the BAF, and as new General, Betafoxtrot would like to have the occasion to test a new army organization, on which i won’t give details to not hurt this possible reform. In my opinion, the BAF have never been as efficient as today, and i'm proud of the work done these last months.

Also, Betafoxtrot would like to reduce my influence in the Army, removing my position of HC member to give me an advisory role only. He would also like the BAF to become less dependent from me. I share with him this last goal, and i would be very happy to see the BAF continuing to expand without my companies, being really independent. That's why we decided together that the best for the BAF would be to see me leave it for a break. He is confident about keeping the same level of supplies after a week of work and negotiations with the Congress.

If i'm very attached to the Belgian Armed Forces, i'm also not bound to its management. I wish a lot of success to the BAF and to Betafoxtrot and i will remain available to help in the future, in maybe different ways than before.

Well, i don't want to give more details to hurt Betafoxtrot's ideas, but i didnt approved new things and i agree with him that it will be better if the baf is less dependent on me. At the end he is the general, and he should have the possibility to work as he want.

Thanks for all you have done for the BAF. Good parents let their children try their wings, as you are doing now. Let's hope that we can do you proud.

While he isn't a citizen and member of a foreign army.

Also what will happen with the gold transferred to TR in the past? Will this go back to the state or did we loose this forever?

A Vegan: TR is one of our most excellent citizens. He deserves any honour Belgium can bestow on him. For me, let him simply keep admin mask for instance and let him do as pleases him. He works for the good of Belgium. Citizen mask is most modest and I think it's cute.

The gold that was transferred to him: simply said, it came from my personal accounts and was transferred through the country accounts since at that time I didn't understand the Army production structure and wanted only one thing with that gold: to help to be able to upgrade one of his Q4 to Q5 companies so that the BAF could enjoy higher supplies, during a 50% company upgrade promotion. Also, I hope that your last question has been answered satisifiably now.

You are giving subjective reasons and it doesn't work like that. Are you saying that TR can do what he wants? That he doesn't need to follow the law? All because he is so excellent in your eyes?

You donated gold to the state. Great! But in no way this means that you can decide what is done with this money (that from the moment you donated it was from the state).
When that gold was transferred to TR it was with a meaning. By stepping down he has broken the contract and should give it back.

If you donate something to the state you loose rights on it after you transferred it.

Yes he donated it for improvements that would help eBe.
But it seems it will only help TR.

Ward TR is not a god he should be treated like all other members

It was donated, without any contract or so, this was voted by congress
Cause he is a good person, WDB provided the funds for this, the way that this happened was first donating to state, then donating to TR, this due game mechanics.
State orgs has been used before as a temporary station in order to make transactions more easily.

PS: AV, following your reasoning, the state donated to TR, the state loose every rights on it

It is comments like that makes me want to leave belgium. People treat TR like a god he isnt yes he is a cool guy but he is a human like the rest of us and should be treated like the rest of us

Anyway, it was a donation, there was no contract at all. There is nothing illegal done by ThomasRed.

The only one who can complain about it is Ward de Bever, And even it does not give any right to claim it back.
