Paste Bin on IRC

Just curious

is it known to everyone that pastebin that you can use on our irc channel has a public search function on its website?

So basicly everything you copy is public.

just search for someones irc nick

I have never heard of pastebin.com

When you use the Mibbit web IRC client
it's at the bottom of the screen.

oh never noticed it.

Real irc users use a real client and not webchat like mibbit

I think I use rizon.

Also, I've been searching trough Pastebin records for years. It often gives me ppl's passwords and in the past I even had some croatian guy in my Intel agency write a tool that constantly searches for certain erep and PEACE-related keywords.

it's really funny to see people like MG put all their diplomatic convos on pastebin.
