I disagree with this, we actually have nothing to win from joining an alliance. We're already at the mercy of our direct neighbours without being aligned as it is. eBelgium can probably benefit far more from aligning with TEDEN then with ONE anyways. But as MaryamQ said, the world is changing.

Ireland doesn't like us anymore, we've alligned with their enemy eUK.
eBE has good ties with eUK, a lot of prominent eBE are now eUK and eBE has been helping eUK against Ireland.

I hardly doubt that EDEN is even remotly interested in our. We would only be a burden for them and members of E/T would lose a potential target to use when needed.

And yes as Maryam said the world is changing with Chile leaving TERRA, Bulgaria leaving EDEN en Russia probably also leaving TERRA.

Question is how long will that peace last? They've signed peace many times but they end up fighting with each other. As for the new alliance, we will have to wait and see what happens there and who will be part of it.

I think I we can manage to stay Neutral after this conflict it will be the best. The question is if TEDEN wont push us in the arms of ONE once more by not signing any MPP's with us.

This last war did show that you do not have to be an outspoken allie to any particular alliance to unsure the survival of our nation. Building good and lasting relations with other individual nation(regardless of there affiliations) could be of greater inportance on the long run.

Neutral, because that being in a alliance is not only a good thing... it can give us problems as well.

We can't predict what will happen in the eWorld, everything can happen in a very short time...

It's not something we can decide without thinking.

In fact, neutral is safer. But that also mean we are a easy target, that's why mercenaries exists~

I also believe we have more to loose in an Alliance...
And we don't have the military strength to help one of those to conquer a lot...
Only to defend our 3 regions with help of friends.

Besides, we never lack a battle to up in str and rank with a world war ongoing. No need for a alliance to fight!

I also think joining an alliance just gives more excuse for attacking us!
And I like that we discuss between ourself what we do without need to ask permission to a foreign HQ.

If we join an Alliance one day, I'd like it to be like RL EU: all our neighbours and further, peace in Europe, a voice for all members, ...
