[GD]Translation Team

Didn't know exactly where to put this, but I suggest we create a translation team.

Why?
To avoid miscommunication
To avoid communaitary (you know what I mean, Wallonia-Flandersfights) discussions
To save time

The idea I had in mind was the following:
-> there is a national newspaper that's part of the Governmental ORG. All ministers can post a newsflash on that.
-> 'cause not all our ministers will know all three languages (and for those who do, to save them some time), they just put that news up in the language that suits them best.
-> before making that article, they'll say in an apart topic (the Translation Topic (how original is that)) that there is news coming up and in which language.
-> two of the volunteers who have listed up say "Covering that in Nl/Fr/Eng (depending on what they are going to translate it)", so there won't be double work (we'll have eBelgian work enough, I think)
-> if the news is out, those people translate it asap, and send their translation to the government org.
-> one of the ministers adds it to the news

It seems the most usefull and fast way imo, but I could be mistaken, so please add/correct ideas.

And oh, I'm volunteering for the Nl-Eng switch.

i can do this for english

I can speak french and english fluently. I could do for french/english papers and anything that could require a translation. I quite like translating stuff, so I'd be happy to help as much as I can !

I can translate any language into english. i can only translate english into a few languages.

Any language? You speak all languages or you put the sentence into an automatic translator on google ?^^

all languages was hyperbole. yes, i speak a few languages, and know enough to take what google spits out and make it into a readable english. the opposite, however, will not work; english into other languages.

You need to be careful with those translators. I have the chance to be able to speak a few languages myself, but I'd rather limit myself at English/French - French/English, or a bit of English/German if we really need it translated.

Anyway, as ThomasRED said, it's always good to know that we have translators around !

The languages I know best are Dutch - English - French, in that order. I have a very basic knowledge of German (actually also an official language in RL Belgium) and Italian.

Someone, please message me the list of the translation team so I can give them special masks as Professors (part of the Ministry of Education).

right, its a good job for roughly translating, but i can speak english so what doesnt translate through clearly i can change to make it sound right and with the correct intent.

I can translate english to polish or polish to english If you need any of this translation - just ask.
