Boer Jan, Padwan and AndreasC, there is no possible way of preventing congress members from accepting whoever they want.

That's an ingame rule and though we're trying as much as possible here to discuss together (gov + CM) those citizenship requests, there's nothing we can do if congress members want to do otherwise.
If they don't want to pay attention to immigration, that's their right, and if they do want to accept anyone, that's their right too... with all the drawbacks and advantages brought by this responsibility.

As under-secretary to immigration I'm trying to keep the immigration part of the forum up to date and to treat every request before it expires.
I've not been perfect in that matter, but I've tried my best.

immigration is a tough job, I've been there, done that. Hardly rewarding and tough. But it's a job that must be done.

but someone letting down everything should not regain rights on the forum like that either, some if he/she was congressman, my opinion is that he/she should be excluded to see whatever until good reason is given for sudden leave.
