How did you find out about eBelgium?

So yeah, whats your story on how you found eRepublik and joined eBelgium?

I saw an add on Newgrounds and found it very exiting And because i'm belgian I joined eBelgium offcourse.

BTW: maybe now we can chart how we can recruit new citizens and which place is the best to do that.

My brother used to play eRep (he only 2-clicks now) and he told me about it. I started in Australia when I joined and went through the US to belgium (I suppose you know why I came here).

I have no frigging idea.
I seem to have winded up on the frontpage by clicking an ad I guess.

...I honestly can't remember... I think there was someone with one of those eRep banners in their sig on a forum. I clicked and signed up. Started in America but came here a little while ago.

Saw a posting on the Aeria games forum one day while browsing during server maintenance and saw a listing of government simulators. Clicked on several until this popped up and it looked interesting.

And I came to Belgium for the same reason as Medrolke, and stayed because I saw the possibility of helping make a difference in the country.

A friend on a forum gave me a link to a new game.

Belgium was part of the eUK back then.

My brother-in-law recommended the game. I wasn't really into games then and checked it out without great enthusiasm, chose Flanders as my homeregion (as most players, I guess) and before I knew it I was hooked on this game

well I first came to this game on day 22 as part of the UKCS community

I found out about belgium when I was Vice president of eUK and decided it would be cool to lead a attack on belgium. A few days later we "merged"

You know, I almost not signed up for this game when I didn't see Belgium in the list of countries.

Well I signed up for eRepublik when it was in Beta but due to wait list I forgot about it. But I saw an ad for it and decided to check it out and after 100s of hours of playing it I still enjoy it.

I came to eBelgium when it got liberated from the eUk as part of a PTO force. Fun stuff amiright?

I honestly cannot remember how I found this, but I joined around day 100, and after two days I was bored. A year later I revisited the site (no clue why) and I fell in love with the game. I came to Belgium because I felt that it would be easier to make a difference in a small country.

What is strange is that at first I was only planing to be a 2 clickers, and now I am already a forum Titan. lol

I was searching for a browser based game after leaving ikariam and google offered me eRep. Now I'm hooked, thanks a lot google

This makes me think of a joke I recently read in some article: You know you're addicted to eRep when the phrase "Yay, I got elected!" sounds like a verdict to your family...

"You know you're addicted to eRep when you start cheering for your in-game alliance's countries in the RL Olympics."

I'll admit I did this during the winter Olympics. My friends were wondering why I would boo every time a player from Hungary or Servia would go up.
