Can someone explain me what's the IO's purpose? (Exactly if possible)

My purpose? :O

Well, you probably know you can change citizenship in this game. So if a foreigner wants to become eBelgian, he needs to travel to eBelgium and apply for it in his profile. They are then listed here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/country/Belgium/citizenship/applications/1 (empty because we're conquered)

Each Congressmember gets one pass per term, so he can let one guy in per month. The problem is that some people are not well-meaning and only come with a bunch of friends to try and seize power. that's why Congress appoints an Immigration Officer who analyzes the applications and tell them whether they should accept him/her or not.

Completely untrue! She only slaps those who really need it.

We are very tolerant, there are almost no 'unforgivable crimes' in eBe, so don't worry

Even stealing the BAF and a load of money will only get you a few people who dislike you, nothing more. :p
