That is really sad, but to be honest I was really surprized when I joined eRep to see Iran was in the game.

They might be seeing this page when trying to access eRep.

It is a shame for the Iranians who play the game and have built up a community.

This really sucks, now with V2 they can't even get in with proxies. Sad that they built themselves a name, were involved in PEACE, and now the site is banned.

a pity indeed. Iran was a cool nation, just only because they were like, real iranians (and they've been once atleast a secundary power, right?)

Iran is a rather strategic positioned country: it's one the bridges linking europe and asia, the other one being heavily populated russia. And Iran has an abudance of High resources: 3 high grain and 3 high oil. So if the country becomes unstable, I bet a lot of people are going to take advantage of it.
And prolly PHX will maintain control of it. They got both borders of Iran under control (turkey in the west and pakistan and Serbia's base sindh in the east) and Iran has a long tradition of being pro-PHX. if Iran gets into the hands of EDEN, it will get invaded straight away.

Maybe Iran will be deleted of the game if iranian peoples cannot access it.

I think that eRep places certain countries with the express purpose of creating conflict.
More conflict = more gold spent = higher profits!

I'm looking forward to the day they create eMacedonia , i'm not really excited about either country , however it will be quite exciting to see war break out between the 2 nations.

probably. Also keeps more people interested (yeah, I can become president of North Korea, w00t w00t). Hopefully they'll add some north african countries in which europe can quickly get some colonies ^^

It's like if admins add in Kosovo or Albania. International tensions just add to the wars in this game.

Or if they add the ability to have a resistance war in a region of an original country (independant Flanders )

That ability would be pretty fun. I'm not a fan of separation IRL, but an independent Quebec in game would be fun.
