Printing some BEF wouldn't be a bad idea. It's easy gold for the state and I am not sure at all that the PEG will drop so drastically after the war.

I doubt the food companies will lower their prices. So probably not

I have put the last BEF in NBB-BNB on the market. However, to continue stabilizing the exchange rates, I think we should print additional money. I have moved 90 GOLD to the state accounts, which - combined with the 10 GOLD that was in it - should enable us to print 20,000 BEF.

I hope a Congress member is willing to create a proposal to print this money (if needed after a certain amount of time of debating here, although I'd like to stress that the sooner we get it, the better it is ).

If more money is needed, we can raise another proposal in time. I'd rather take this easy and safe, than quick.

as MoF, you have full control over the NBB-BNB. Last time you didn't need to ask acces for this either, so there's a precedent ...

these things are really hard to propose, mostly they are needed pretty fast.
But its more appropriate when MoF proposes it when its really needed.
The MoF should say if he needs extra BEF otherwise we shouldnt do this.
Btw how did we get 100g on the company account to do this?

We have seen that as soon as NBB-BNB stops keeping the rate at 0.019 BEF, that is rises to 0.02 or even 0.021.

Therefore, I could support to set the rate a bit higher (for example at 0.02 BEF), although we should be careful that we aren't going to be too expensive for our export sector.

the money that gets transferred is not in the state account while being voted about.

it is the same when countries sign an MPP with each other or ask gold in exchange for peace. Then the gold also gets laid aside while waiting for the outcome of the vote. If the vote is no, then it returns to the state account.

Like what Canada did with the UK with a Peace Proposal, the UK had like 150 gold in the treasury so Canada asked for a peace proposal for the 150 gold, they couldn't use it for 24 hours.

Good to hear, that the State continue his work to get back our original rate, at 0.019... (and see if later it become 0.02 naturally by the laws of market).
