Introducing New players to a e-Phenomenon: e-religion

What is e-religion? e-religion is just like a RL religion but then in e-republik. Now don't take these things too serious, as they are here for the "lulz". (ea: as a joke, for those not familiar with 4chan terminology)

There are several e-religions (Zamuelism, furrism,...) out there but the best known, the oldest and the one with the most followers is Dioism. This e-religion dates back from Beta.

Why am I making a post about this? Simple, if you browse around on the ingame forums you will often find references to this e-religion (bro-fists; pride, power /v/akistan,...)


Since Diosm is really a massive religion to explain, I'll use wiki references for this:

And I just invented Pieterism.
I only need some gold to buy a church and provide followers with food. Monthly subscriptions. Subscription fees are yet to be determined!

I was on the wiki , when i was new to the game and i come across Dioism , but there was something called churchism (well i think it was churchism)

Some Danish guy is trying to spin off "Danishism" as well

The religion is a delicate subject I find in a game.
In fact, it is especially necessary to try to respect the religion by our words.

But that can be interesting to develop.

what I'm talking about here is a internet religion. This isn't a real religion and it's just for fun. It's funny to make fun of internet religions.

It'd be fun to have an eReligon started in eBelgium , be one of them things were people go , "well i heard it started in the neutral eNation of eBelgium" lol
