i think a merge would be good and indeed the last one was a fail but now there are other players other people other view other rules don't forget that a lot changed since then.

these kind of unions never work out fine, unless you start from the beginning as equal and if there's somebody who can maintain this equality.

that's what i meant... if we can't start from the equality in the beginning then it's pointless to bother..

fact is that eBe is a forum based community. This is mainly because we have many RL foreigner who live in a different time zone (maryam, Thore,...). Our IRC is nearly always dead.

eNL on the other hand is a IRC community. They have extremely low forum activity, a very high IRC activity and their government works for the most part over IRC.


We are the exact opposites of each other. Plus I think if we merge and we'd be forced to do cabinet meetings on IRC, I doubt the RL americans here are capable of getting out of bed in the middle of the night to come on IRC for a stupid meeting?

so yea, I prefer maryam,thore and some others over a thousand dutch tanks any given day.

Thanks, shadow, I think. Fact is, some of us foreigners do get on IRC occasionally, but I will grant it can be tricky.
