Re: Embassy of eNew Zealand
A quick update on the recent Congressional elections held in eNZ.
The four major parties of our nation came to an agreement on the number of candidates each would run in this election, as our focus needed to be on rebuilding eNZ and not partisan fights. So this was a tame election by past standards.
The results were as follows;
Red Label Party-14 Seats
Ujedinjenje ili smrt-9 Seats
Ranginui-9 Seats
Peace 'n' Prosperity Party-8 Seats
The turnout was 188 citizens voted, of a population of around 400+, which is less then in past elections but considering it was only days after the recent wars, I'm not surprised by this. I'm just happy we had any regions to run candidates in.
The Congress has decided to focus on rebuilding efforts and all Congressmen have agreed to donate their 5 Gold to the NZ Ministry of Economy to aid in our rebuilding efforts. This unity is in stark contrast to the past and indicates a growing maturity in our nation.
On a personal note,
I was also elected to Congress as a Member of Parliament for the region of Canterbury. So expect some insider info!
Finally, Congrats to all the eBelgium citizens who managed to win election in this round of Congressional voting. I know that all of you will work towards making your nation a better place and I hope will support keeping stronger ties with the nation of eNZ.
Thats all for today from "down under"

eNZ Update!
Hello my friends in eBelgium,
I have the honour of informing you that eNZ held its Presidential elections (like everyone else) on June 5 and the results were as follows
Crusadercarl-122 votes (64.21%)
-Peace 'n' Prosperity Party
-Ranginui
-Ujedinjenje ili smrt
Koska de STRAH-68 votes (35.79%)
-Red Label Party
-Red Squad
This was a historic election, as CC is only the second RL Kiwi to be elected eNZ's President. He quickly set about appointing a new Cabinet for June which is as follows.
President
-Crusadercarl
Vice President
-Spud of Doom
Minister of Finance
-Don KronoX
Minister of Defense
-Koska de STRAH
Minister of Foreign Affairs
-Mortalbeta
-Fionia
-Splindza
Minister of Education
-Gil-game
Minister of Information
-Oboacer
Well that is the new Cabinet of Ministers for eNZ for the month of June. I'm especially proud as this is the second President from my party (PnPP) and this is the first Cabinet to contain a majority of PnPP Ministers.
Beyond that there will be more updates soon and if you want to know more about eNZ don't hesitate to subscribe to my paper for weekly updates your friends from "down under"

Re: Embassy of eNew Zealand
Sorry for the delay, had some personal issues in RL to deal with but have an update on the new party Presidents in eNZ. Without delay they are;
Peace 'n' Prosperity Party-rootbeer123
Ujedinjenje ili smrt-Koska De STRAH
Red Label Party-loader
Ranginui-Jockeye
Taranaki Tribe-naxhi24
Aotearoa-Dadan
Red Squad-zoomenager
I have also included the link to the new edition of "NZ Update", the main information article about all the on-goings in our little pacific paradise.
http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/the-nz-update-2-1804496/1/20
Not too much else to report, we are finishing up a training war with eChile that has led to a region swap between our two nations.
Also our military has gone through a major stage of reorganization as we seek to expand our military presence around the globe and show our allies that they can count on us Kiwis to fight the good fight.
Sidenote
It gives me great pleasure to welcome a dedicated eBelgium citizen "Mudduck95" as the newest citizen of eNZ. He has taken part on our forums and become an active member of our nation.
I did not intent to pick off citizens from your nation but if you are looking for new opportunities and adventures always know that eNZ is opened to new members.
That's all for now from Down Under
Cheers,
Oboacer

Re: Embassy of eNew Zealand
Hello eBelgiums,
Well it has been some time since I last posted and I wanted to say sorry for that. Alot has taken place in eNZ and I was preoccupied by much of this so I was not able to completely keep eBelgium updated.
So I will start with the Congressional election results (June 25);
Red Label Party- 12 seats
Ujedinjenje ili smrt- 11 seats
Peace 'n' Prosperity Party- 9 seats
Ranginui- 8 seats
This was the third straight election that the top-four parties in eNZ worked out a pre-election agreement to divide up Congress. So this has been the political make-up of Congress.
Onto the Presidential elections, which were contested. The results were as follows;
Kurojca- 123 votes (66.13%)
-Red Label Party
-Ranginui
Bass Junkie- 60 votes (32.26%)
-Peace 'n' Prosperity Party
-Aotearoa
naxhi24- 3 votes (1.61%)
-Taranaki Tribe
Our nation has also begun to end the "Training War" between eNZ and eChile. This war has allowed our fighters to build up their strength and ensure that our citizens have a "NE bonus".
We are currently in talks with Australia to initiate a new "Training War", this will be the first since the "Otago-Tasmania Land-swap" that took place in February 2011. We are trying to build better ties, considering that the Aussis dislike our close ties to ONE.
Beyond that, we don't have much else to report. Our nation is still focusing on bringing new citizens to our land.
On a side note, congrats on the appointment of a "Monarchy". I will be interested to see how this plays out.
Sincerely,
Oboacer,
