Hello to my homeland
Hello everybody
Let me introduce myself:
I'm darkinou, a player who's been eFrench for one year. Some weeks ago, I was elected as "supreme chief" of the eFrench army but I was recently fired by our President kallmar for stupid reasons. I'm not a powerful soldier but my motivation and my amiability allow me to receive great responsibilities. Moreover eFrench soldiers like making fun of me because... I'm Belgian IRL
So... IRL, I'm 20, I live between Tournai/Doornik and Mouscron/Moeskroen (near France) but I spend my whole week in Brussels 'cause I study physics in the ULB. I love Belgium and I have Walloon, Flemish, Brussels, French, Arabic, Luxemburger (and so on) friends. That's the Belgium I love. I'm not going to talk about IRL Belgian politics otherwise I wouldn't be able to stop.
My hobbies are basketball (I play this sport in a club), electronic music, sciences, French literature, international politics (I can't stop following what's going on in Maghreb), and ULB student parties (or sometimes VUB).
Bye-bye my eBelgian friends

Welcome, darkinou. If, as it seems, you are here to try to improve the relations between our eCountries, you are more than welcome! I too am excited about the events in the Middle East, including Maghreb, as I have some friends originally from there and my husband is Jordanian.

Re: Hello to my homeland
Thanks everybody
Nobody sent me here to improve our relations. Actually I was talking with the kindest MoFA I've ever met (mittekemuis) and I told myself it's high time I introduce myself to the eBelgian communauty
Oh yes... Jordan is concerned too. Fortunately violence hasn't reached this country yet.

Fortunately? The violence you call it is the voice of the people finaly standing up against dictatorship... And Jordania has lots of troubles coming. So does Ivory coast, but no media present there, so no one knows.

Our news is actually influencing us
They are telling for example that the Eastern part of Libia is freed, while that is taking a side
While journalists are supposed to be neutral

Theneka, I mean I don't want to see Jordanian army shooting with guns in the crowd. I've already seen frightening videos from Libya, Egypt and Barhein. All I want is peace and democracy.

Without violence I doubt you would see democraty ever developing in those countries. Even here in RL Belgium blood has been blood has been split for the universal sufrage.
