Please reply this message with your e-mail adress , password and pin in order to prove that you are the owner of this account. Otherwise , you will be banned permanently because it is illegal to hack an account

Is he a hacker or a real admin?

Hacker, they used to send these messages.
Don't send them any information, if admin thought you used multies they'd ban you outright.
If you did send information already, change everything.

Maybe several players have the same mail : he is banned.

i had ADMIN NL and ADMIN USA permabanned already some weeks ago for exactly the same scam - should file a ticket to admins immediately when this type of message enters - also report the mail for spam.

First of all, the admins only have 1 account, that's "Plato" ( http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/2) easily recognisable by citizensID "2"

Secondly Plato would NEVER ask for your email, password and/or PIN. They already have this information so there is no need to ask for it.

Anything thats not from Plato is fake and anything that asks for your information is fake. Admins know your password, why would they ask for it?

It'd be more effective to post a sticky saying not to give out personal account information to anyone in eRep.
Other than that best you can do is message new people to inform them, or post an article.
They should already know this information however, everyone is informed about it immediately after signing up.

Scammers and phissers ( or whatever you call them ) abuse people's stupidity. And as long as there are idiots among us, they will keep trying. And if it wouldn't work, they wouldn't keep trying :p

recently I have seen a reportage about scammers with african chatters
They make money by making people believe they love them and those people keep sending money, it was funny especially when the police caught the guy but needed a charge to put him in prison, so they called the women he was chatting with in the cybercafé, the women thought it was a joke and hung up laughing XD

And a guy at home who is chatting with a bot, but thinks she is real, in the meanwhile sending money
The reporter asked him if he could aks her to strike in her hair, he asked it but she didnt do anything, still he didnt believe she was fake, and the beauty is, this guy is a teacher XD

So you see, plenty of idiots, morons and more of that kind to believe such nonsense

I saw it too. At some point I felt like shooting those ppl for their stupidity. Honestly, I can't understand how ppl can be so naive to believe everything some one tells them.
