There is a difference between insulting someone and insulting someone, and the admins have it wrong. You sneeze and get a warning tbh and it just looks extremely stupid.

If you refer to the Rape of Belgium - the German justification was acts of 'illegal warfare' or civilian resistance... the destruction of Leuven in 1914 and the organised terror (Schrecklichkeit) was not because Leuven was not polite but because the Germans were frustrated that we kept on resisting. So "Maybe..." is probably rather "Even if Leuven had been more polite to the Krauts.....". This was not a question of vulgarity but a question of total warfare, with railway sabotage and civil disobedience being used as a pretext for a policy of terror against civilians.
