I noticed yesterday already but I thought it was a bug: the new citizen fee displays as 50 BEF.

Would this be the real amount that new players get? That would explain a quite unusually low amount of state taxes. Today there are already 5 new citizens, that would make a difference of 225 BEF in 3 hours 30'. At a guessed rate of 20 new citizens per day, this would make a difference of 900 BEF per day, which is quite huge for our treasury (more than one third of the previous average daily income).

Anybody know something more?

Normally this should be voted as a law by Congress, maybe admins made changes?
