Living in a new city
So I started college not too long ago and had to move cities to go there. Now, the college is right next to my hometown. Only about 60 miles (or in European units: 120 liters) more or less. However, my hometown has about 800,000 people living in it. This one only has 100,00 people give or take. I find the transition from going from a nice city where every place is industrialized or has buildings taller than one story to a tiny insignificant town surrounded by farmland a little frustrating. I can literally drive around the city in 20 minutes. There is even LESS to do here than in my hometown and there is nowhere to drive to nearby. I don't know if it's homesickness or not, but I feel a strong sense of superiority being a Texan in this untermensh city. Anyone have advice for living in a new city?

I'm not old enough to drink. 18, my friends. Getting laid seems to be no problem, so I need things to entertain me between orgies.

college is a preparation for RL and just like RL you need to adapt and bend the rules in your environment to supply in your own needs. I can't say i've ever tried brewing my own beers, but i've heard from others who did that it's not that hard.

Shad proves that alcohol is bad for the brain, so don't do it. You could try Zen meditation however
