Not commenting the article and the candidacy in itself, as el1tmkd have shown to be a good asset for eBE, but in the eyes of the eWorld, will it be a good signal toward our neutrality to elect a macedonian as President ? He is eBelgian of course, but with mkd in his name, won't we get troubles with TEDEN who won't believe us we are not proONE even with a macedonian president ? (it's not a negative remark, but i had to say it) If it could give us some troubles (we can already see all MKD comments on his articles, that could be seen by TEDEN as ONE support), we could elect Jofroi as CP but to let el1tmkd be the real CP for us for example ? (it would be sad for him, but maybe better for eBE ?) Well, i don't know, it's just an first remark, not thought a lot... In the other hand, he desserve to have the medal too... :/

Agreeing with the part on the global look at us of choosing an macedonian as an eBelgian president.

Not agreeing on the second part to vote for Jofroi and let el1tmkd take the actual command. What is democratic about that, TR?

Just my opinion of course.

Nevertheless, I wish you all the best with the CP candidacy! Everyone deserves a shot, and who wins, is chosen by democratic vote.

Jofroi has been trying for many months to just get the medal even before I was CP, get elected and then give responsibility to somebody else. I know has has taking over quit a few times after a impeachment but he isn't willing to become CP for a whole month.

I had the same thoughts that Thomas have now when Nohjis proposed to be eBelgian MoFA last month. That's why I was appointed only to work with ONE countries at first. But after that, I managed to convince China and USA to sign MPPs with us - they also saw that "mkd" in my name, Chinese MoFA even knew that I am Macedonian IRL, and noone mentioned that. Beeing Macedonian IRL has nothing to do with being pro-ONE in-game!!! And I assure all of you that I am more pro-TEDEN that many of you are!!! I will do my best to prove that again. We'll talk again after my term (if I got elected).

Every idea that can be ongoing in a society should be taken into account, not saying that you should agree with it, but shooting it down with shallow words as "haters gonna hate" is not quite bright.

There are people who will have these thoughts flashing by, and it just had to be mentioned. It does not mean he wouldn't have been a good president. Voting for the one that shows most capabilities to run a country still is more important.

What I think is impermissible is the fact that he can't run for president in game because his party president hasn't been online for 4 days.

1) As PP I saw there was a lot of rubbish candidates and I thought I would throw my name in so we would have someone who has done it before.
2) The best way to get back into the game is to jump head first back into it Razz

I don't think president is a good way to start doing things. If you want to become involved start by getting a position in government or something. President is a very demanding task that is easy to underestimate. Especially in the current situation where there are multiple dangers we need somebody who is very active and experienced imho.

I find it sad that after what I think has been good progress over the last 3 months, due to everybody, not just the CPs, that we are now faced with squabbles about which candidate should win, who should or should not be considered a loyal eBelgian, whether we should choose our CP based on what others might or might not think rather than which CP might actually serve us best, etc. I am not happy about the fact that e|1temkd cannot run. He had the overwhelming support of party members active on our forum, and I feel that not only was it unfair to him, but also to the party and all of eBelgium that the voters could not have had that choice. However, I also would not be sorry to see another party's candidate have a chance. For me, this time that will have to be Goopy. I hope he will surround himself with a good team, and that we could have a prosperous month. Jamster, I like you, but I am concerned about your lack of activity and initiative recently. Bruno, I think you have potential and could be a very good CP some day, but I have been in that position twice, and you can trust me when I say you are not ready. I suggest you take the advice that was offered above and learn the ropes. David and Volsem are obvious noes, and I don't think more explanation is needed.

Best of luck to the candidates, and especially to eBelgium in the coming month.

Agree, I think Goopy would do a good job probably for me he is the best candidate this month and the person to beat. If I still had citizenship I would vote for him.

Thank you Fhae! Your thoughts really mean a lot to me. And about the next month, I won't be able to run! I will have to move in another city in Macedonia - Ohrid, and work there. You know, I'm Floor Manager of McDonald's restaurant in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, but from 1st of April, I'm going to be promoted to General Manager of McDonald's Restaurant in Ohrid - I will have to move there, and will have too much responsibilities, so I will not be able to do my best for eBelgian good. That's why my next try will be in August (or maybe earlier - in July) 2012. Until then, I hope eBelgium will be in good hands!

About this term, as I already said - I think GoopyPants will be the best choice (jamster737 would be great also, but he need to show more activity).
