eBE - Divisions

From the eBE top200 list :

* National Guard - Division 1 : 65 citizens, 14 who fought yesterday.
* Soldiers - Division 2 : 74 citizens, 35 who fought yesterday.
* Special Forces - Division 3 : 45 citizens, 37 who fought yesterday.
* Tanks - Division 4 : 16 citizens, 15 who fought yesterday.

For eNL, to compare :

* National Guard - Division 1 : 15 citizens, 6 who fought yesterday.
* Soldiers - Division 2 : 104 citizens, 64 who fought yesterday.
* Special Forces - Division 3 : 58 citizens, 47 who fought yesterday.
* Tanks - Division 4 : 20 citizens, 19 who fought yesterday.

(approximative numbers, and citizens list are 3 weeks old)

Having fought in a RW in eNL this morning, I can confirm that there was a lack of Division 1 fighters. It would appear that many countries will have to work harder at getting their young players fit and ready to fight and on letting them know when to fight.

Some usefull datas from Iain Keers' article :

The first division is capped at 5000 XP. The maximum XP a player can get each day from fighting is approximately 240. Say a new player hits half of that, they would only be in division A for 41 days, just over a month.

The second division is capped at 25,000 experience points. So a player could reach division 3 by fighting half as much as is possible in about 200 days, which is about 6-7 months.

The third division ends at 60,000 XP. Now at the pace I’ve been setting a new player would take 500 days exactly to reach that- hitting 120 fights a day. At the maximum level of fighting (240 each day) it would take 250 days from birth to reaching the fourth division.

While we are already weaker than eNL, i think that the new war module rules only strenghten eNL, as the several "forces" of eBE are now separated in several groups and that D3 soldiers wont be able to help D4 soldiers to push the wall, while D4 NL soldiers are more powerfull than eBE D4's soldiers (same for D3 and D2). With these changes, it's now 100% sure that eBE is not strong enough to keep an NL region, even for 1 day, in 1 vs 1 (and our D1 and D2 are not mobile troops). And if eBE get occupied by foreign forces, it would be difficult to free a region, even if in RW we should get an little advantage because of D1 and D2, which won't be the case in eBE because of the too low level of population. Which strenghten my opinion that before to want to join an alliance, eBE need to work on it population level, because we won't be able to assume our role otherwise and it will only put our country in troubles.

Ya after putting it like that and doing the math then ya I see what you are saying. But it just brings us back to the same thing that I know I and a few others have said on multiple threads need to increase the strength and rank of D1, D2, and D3 players.

They should have put divisions when the V1 module was still up. :S

Please keep in mind that if you can not compete in the 4th Division, you NEED to win ALL three other Divisions in order to gain the most points...

Yes, 1st and 2nd division gain importance, they should best be organised a bit and hits tried to be localized in certain battles, 3rd Division will become very important, but you can NOT afford to lose the 4th Division.

So the admins made it possible to make every player more important and lower experience players have the possibility to excel now (and be more motivated to buy gold ...)

More money for them!
