So looking at the cost to build each rocket,

Q1 rocket around 1350 BEF
Q2 rocket around 3400 BEF
Q3 rocket around 6800 BEF
Q4 rocket around 13600 BEF

gold moved down to around 2600BEF/Gold, so over 1G for each Q2 rocket, and over 2.5 gold for a q3 rocket.

Not something I'm interested in.

That gold is better spent training, unless you are up in the elites of your division, but why spend over 5 gold for a Q4 rocket when a BH is only 5 gold?

One thing would be "hey, q1 rockets are -cheap- and the factory is cheap!". Still, the Q6 tanks you sacrifice to build the rocket provide more of an influence boost than the rocket itself does, so not seeing the advantage other than, again, if you are max fights max hits max goldbuying.

max fights and still wanting an oportunity at from time to time a BH medal and from time to time top 100 fighters.

thats right, but rocket needs only 1 FF, and that makes a big difference with Q6 tanks I think

lower levels can have benefit of it, and yes gold buyers will love it

not interested myself but should be a nice boost for the market, weapon prices are going nuts

Just did 3 in a row in Flanders.
3.3m (using ff, boosters and 2 rockets while fighting a GoW who was rather unhappy at not getting it himself)
2.3m (using boosters and some EB, making sure to keep +/- 1m above other hunter)
1.4m (using boosters and some EB making sure to keep +/- 1m above someone who looked like a sniper)

Most BH medals in div4 are still the same you just have to be more careful about snipers or upsetting other people now.

Getting a BH or CH medal is about preparing yourself and these rockets can help you with that but they're not indispensable and as Goopy pointed out rather expensive for that unless you need to rush to your next TP medal (because eBelgium doesn't go to war that much). We'll see when markets stabilize though.

Well, I got 1 bh medal today but it was very hard.
I tried several times yesterday and i always lost to rockets.
250K for 1 FF, it's a bit broken.
Today has gone the same way but this time i fought with rocket too...

Really people, what is so bad about them?

I have had good experience whit them, i have a lowest of Rocket-factory and it helps me gain a medal now and then(it has been a while now but that is another reason for it).
My ranking gets a boost as well sometimes.
I see no long term downside to this and that is of greater concern then the cost everyone is wining about.

Once you're in division 4 you will see that even a + 1.000.000 damage rocket won't make a difference anymore.

And moreover, to create a +1.000.000 damage rocket you need 100 weapons of each type, what bring the cost to create such rocket over the 5 gold for the (potential) medal.

Now that I think about it, I think that rocket factory was probably the thing that made me go bankrupt. Therefore I downgraded it.

can you make every day a rocket ? I think that your financial situation doesn't make that possible.
So, I suggest you use loads of bazookas

Of-course, if you eat/spend your reserves. then you will have to screen you costs and decide what could serve you best on the long term.
I always have a minimum i never touch so i have something in case all other things fail. If you spend more on your Rocket-factory then you can afford, you should have calculated the costs before you bought or upgraded a Rocket-factory. Know what you spend before you spend it.

Also do you say that other divisions should not spend it because of what might happen in the very, very far future. Most likely things would be different against that time and personal situations would have changed due to other matters.

That is why i was so surprised by the many negative voices on this topic.
I do understand those who do not see or are able to enjoy the benefits of this new element.

@ cliffie: If you think you can use it without draining your reserves, then i would recommend it.
. . . . . . for the time being it could benefit you if you don't upgrade to far (the higher the upgrade the higher the weapons cost).

@ NLSP: for you the costs are to high. You don't have to make a rocket every day, just only when you think you can use one. Spending them every day is an unnecessary cost(no wonder they cost to much for you).

No, I can't. But also I can't use loads of bazookas every day.

I'm going to think that my financial situation doesn't allow me to win BH anyway.

@ Tommot: I didn't make any calculations for the lower divisions, so it is maybe not a bad idea for them to do so. However, I am very reluctant to spend gold on a building that you can not use enough.

@cliffie: if you do daily your DO, I think you should be able to save enough energy bars and bazooka's to do in the future enough damage that will give you the BH medal. It shouldn't be done every day, however imho, if you invest in a rocket factory, you need to be able to use this enough in order to make it an effect (that is why I said daily, however that shouldn't be interpreted to literal )
you need to take into mind that once you go to the next division, your rocket damage isn't worth a lot anymore in comparison to the damages made in that division.
Anyway, you need to decide for yourself, if 1) the gold investment is worth it 2) how often will you be able to create a rocket and 3)how often can you try to get a BH?

@Olv: In Division 4 a million is a big difference and I already lost a BH due to that million (the man did that at the end of the battle , which is annoying is that anyone can do that nowadays so meeh :p).

But I indeed think that it is not worth it unless you have hopes to earn a lot of BH thanks to it.

Now I'm not the best placed to discuss it either because with 3-4 NRJ bars I can be certain at 80% to have a BH if I hit at the beggining of the battle (or at least I can negociate 1 or 2 gold ^^).

I have downgraded my rocket factory when I had the oportunity to buy bazooka boosters. Even if, with today's prices, the price for a Q4 rocket is slightly under 5 Gold, it's not worth the deal. It's 1m damage that doesn't count toward your rank progression.

In div4 you would need 2.5m+ for a medal in div4 anyways. Personally with 94 hits I can make ~1.3m damage + 1m from a rocket = still need energy bars to try and win one. In that case I prefer to pay for extra Q7 weapons or bazooka boosters with that 100 gold. It's a better long term investment thanks to the rank points that come with it.

As for now I have reserves for 2.7M of influence, so it is something like 10 rockets in div2!

But I ca'nt use them: they're there waiting for the airstrike some f***ing ecountry will do against us!

cliffie, find yourself a nice battle where you think you can get BH and use them anyways, don't wait on this airstrike thingie ....
