If I go anywhere for work, I always get the company I'm doing work for to pay for everything.

Re: Leaving Belgium
Hotel is booked by the organizer of the tournament so no other choice possible for me. Hotel seems to be ok: http://www.marriott.fr/hotels/travel/parst-paris-marriott-rive-gauche-hotel-and-conference-center/

Re: Leaving Belgium
I would guess that a Marriott hotel is indeed an acceptable choice - at least all I have encountered in the US are very nice. I need to get somebody who will pay for such accommodations for me!

Re: Leaving Belgium
In the 14th arrondissement ? Well, even if it wasn't a Marriott that's not the place where you find sh*tty hostels. That's one of the richest arrondissements in Paris. You should see the Tour Eiffel pretty easily.

Re: Leaving Belgium
Well.... wifi is not for free here...
8,5€ for 60 minutes
10€ for 5 hrs (I took this one)
19,9 € for 24 hrs
Even when you go in the center of Paris (what we did today) you hardly find any free wifi. Even the wifi called "freewifi" is not free
Tomorrow is the start of the tournament. I will be playing against a Portuguese, a Norwegian and a Frenchie. Wish me all good luck

I think it's the wifi from the provider named Free. It has nothing to do with free stuff if it's the case.
Hum, crush them all ?

Re: Leaving Belgium
I'm back I could not connect the last 2 days because the fee for the 5hrs internet was for 5hrs continuously and not 5hrs in total like I thought it was.
For those interested I won 7 of my 10 games (I play badminton by the way). I reached quarter finals in single and double men and lost every time against the future winner of the tournament

A shame you always find the winner of the tournament in your round.

Including the part why French men always easily surrender I suppose.
