CP November

Since a CP candidate that people can unite behind may solve some of the eBelgian funk, and maybe legitimate choices between candidates with real platforms may help, or at least the ability to discuss possible candidates more than 2 days before the election may be a good thing,

starting this thread for people to indicate if they are going to run as CP in November.

Yes, the classic eBelgian move is to wait until the last minute to declare your candidacy, like some sort of CP ninja, but then we end up with a race like Shadow vs. NLSP, with no real choices.

So step forward. Or step off.

I'm tempted to run.

I'm running. I will present a robust platform with actual goals and objectives, along with brand new, innovative ideas that will add some spice for us older/seasoned players for a change.

So far these are the candidates(but this can change quickly) that have applied in-game.

*Jens Leupe - Belgian Labour Party
*Zangetsu-osan - Marxist-Leninist Belgium

I would have support Lily but since RB didn't gave a sh* about us asking their help during the previous congress elections my vote will certainly go to someone else.

Country President candidates are chosen by their respective Party Presidents. So you can't be a separate candidate.

A candidate can be in any party, i would still vote for the person and not the party(whatever that party is).

I'll keep my problems with other party's for the congress-elections.

Just for the record: My fiath in the RB is somewhat damaged. They will have to put in some extra effords in regaining some trust in there ability's again.

If I was in another party would it change things?

Not for me.
In CP-elections i focus on the person and a lot less to the party in witch the candidate resides.

Personaly i have my doubth between you and kylero(if he applies).
But as Party President i will have to way my descicion based on the input from my fellow party-members. My oppinion is in that case secundary and maybe even irrelevant(depending on what the input of the other members are).

In my not so humble opinion it says enough enough, the graph does not only state military activity but also xp gained and if a person trained. Out of the last 30 days there is one 1 that she was (semi)active and gained 39 xp and trained and 3 days she gained 5 xp. It shows a total lack of interest in erep if you cant even work/train every day. How should such a person be a good president with such an record of inactivity and disinterest? To me it just looks like she wants the medal before she quits.

And it starts with the half truths accepted as truth. Yes ive ran 7 times, but theres context to tgose runs such as being a viable fallback (impeachment).

not everybody plays this game as warrior, some do it just for the politics, others for the media.
we surely can say that Lily jayne is always there the welcome section, debate section, she follows every word said, besides we had candidates who were not even member of a eBe MU and nobody talked about that while that is worse

You might want to reread my post, like I pointed out I wasn't talking about military activity but activity in general ingame. You get xp for working and training, and only 5 out of 30 days she gained xp meaning she doesn't even bother to two click (work/train).

I think it is concerning a CP who doesn't even bother to two click. You can say she is very active on the forum (not making a judgement about this because I cant see the full forum) but ingame activity is just as important and she doesn't do well in that aspect. imho it would be a new lowpoint for Belgium (after selling the CP medal, and electing a two clicker as CP) if we appoint a president who doesn't bother with ingame activity.

Also, adding to the fact I've been the MoFA x4 and the vCP x1 one here, and I'm apparently I'm still not active?

Lily, you exaggerate a lot about your activity. You tend to say "I've been the [insert position] [number of times] and [insert position] [number of times] here, so I am active". Your argument makes no sense. Excuse me, but Mudduck served as vCP and MoFA under Goopy, but was he active? No, he was not. What follows from this?
It matters what you do, while being a Minister. For several reasons (imo ofc), you are doing poor in the last month. Considering the fact you was not part of Nohjis' government, that makes two months in a row. I can add more arguments to my thesis if necessary.

On the issue of Nohjis' government, we both said that we would be in each others government. I didn't push to be in his government, because losing by 2 votes makes you rather sad.

I'm not against You LJS, but facts are there. You aren't active in the millitary module? I can understand. But train/work is not really about the millitary. It's just 3 clicks every day, that you did only 5 days in the last month. And i totaly agree with Fhae with that !

Lily, do I have to reveal what an "amazing" effort you put as vCP and MoFA during my term? I will just leave this here - I asked you to do only one thing - to negotiate the Spanish MPP... but we didn't get an answer until I did it by my own. Draw your conclusion.

Also, if I was you, I would not put my name among those, who get credit for the TW - did you take part in after all? For the first two weeks of NLSP's term, you did not. Do I have to say you try not to talk to Kravenn, because you do not like him (TUP-ESO issues)?

Lily, how many articles have you written (in your newspaper) in eBelgium that discuss something other than vote pandering? I count zero. An entertaining media is good for eBelgium as it can snowball into increased activity (see Cooke4444).

I am active ingame? I just don't fight or train everyday. If you was actually active on the irc, you would realise that. I'm active on the irc and therefore I'm active ingame.

Of course. But if I'm active IRC, surely that means I'm available for eRepublik purposes? I'm on the IRC because I'm on eRepublik ingame all the and that's my point. I am active ingame all the time.

When Belgium fights the UK, I'll be 100% fighting, it's just I've been busy writing MoFA articles and other RL things.

Let's not make it partisan, Kylero, I know you care about Belgium and I know I do. So let's make the CP Campaign on who has the best ideals and who would make the better CP, rather that accusations of stealing wealth and other low blows.
