Switzerland and Cronoss
As you know switzerland faces a severe PTO threat for a few months already.
Till now swiss people managed to secure the CP elections, but they fear they won't be able to stop Cronoss from winning CP elections in January.
We are both small nations, and each vote can make the difference, we know that.
We also know what it is to face a PTO and that foreign help when you're vulnerable is always very appreciated.
That's why I propose that eBelgium will send some citizens to vote for the right swiss CP candidate.
Switzerland is commander of CoT right now, so helping them means we help CoT.
So now that we have a solid candidate running for CP in belgium, I think we can afford it to send 15 or 20 citizens to switzerland to help them. If you know that they have 100 people voting in their CP elections, we know that we can make the difference!! Especially since last elections were won with a difference of 2 votes http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/presidential-elections/30/1354694400 .
I urge congress to vote this, so this becomes an official belgian "mission".
I'm willing to arrange everything, to list the names and to give this list of reliable voters to Switzerland so they know who they have to grant citizenship.
People that are willing to switch CS, just put it in a comment.

Re: Switzerland and Cronoss
tecuvo, as Ambassador to the Swiss, i already thougth at this.
as far as I know, the Swiss asked for help also from Serbia and Italy.
the problem his: how to obtain the Swiss citizenship?
they have no congress, so there are no passes.

Re: Switzerland and Cronoss
Can that help ?
http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Citizenship
How do I become a citizen of a new country or a newly independent country if a congress hasn't been elected yet?
You can't get a citizenship of a country which doesn't have congress. If the country is new (no congress chosen yet), the eRepublik team will be handling the citizenship applications and hand out then until first congress is elected.

Re: Switzerland and Cronoss
The eSwiss intentionally prevented themselves from having a Congress for fear of PTO. But in this case, it actually hurts them as they are unable to get outside help, all while the PTO is still possible through illegitimate means.

They have no congress, so they must have been annihilated one time last month, not? But now they're back on the map. So I think that counts as "newly independent".

The amount of times I told them the exact same thing -_-
They could have easily kept Cronoss down to having two parties if they had organised their PP elections as they did when Lotus was CP.... But some people are just silly
No all the Swiss do is report every new player to the admin encase they are Multies... It's just a matter of time :/

Re: Switzerland and Cronoss
So, if I understand it well, they also can't vote for a money transfer out of reach? Does this mean all eSwiss reserves will be dug out by that Cronoss?

Re: Switzerland and Cronoss
If I sum it all up quite well, isn't their best shot being wiped by a friend before the fifth and then RW'ing afterwards. Get a good CP then. Then try to get congressmajority?
I could be missing things.
@Yannis: can a CP just remove the reserves if there ain't a congress? If yes, can't the current one (Chuckha) move the goods?

President is voted even if the country doesn't have any region.

No, he can't. That's why they were wiped out by Slovenia before the last Congress elections.
But most of the Swiss reserves are in an account controlled by Rican (in his own account or in one of his organization).

I think they try to spend the rest of the reserves on MPP's so Cronoss will have barely anything to take out
But don't quote me on that xD

it's quite difficult when Cronoss and friends control at least 40 multies/fakes, in a country with 80 active citizens (with only 50 active daily)

I would totally agree with you if I hadn't watched the Swiss Government implement a tactical voting system which beat out Cronoss in all but his own arty.
If the same thing had been done last election, Swiss would still have 3-5 party's not just AIM :/
