Baby boom program

I tried in an article posted yesterday to bring forward a subject which doesn`t attracts many. Article tries to take the pulse of the situation and see how much it would involve people bring into play new citizens. There are people excited about the idea, there are people who appreciated my ideas...not exactly what I wanted to hear. I do not want to get votes, I do not want new subscribers to the newspaper, I do not want them to build me a statue. I wanted to know how many would actually do what I proposed. And because people move better when they are rewarded, I was thinking maybe to put up a program to get all aspects of a possible baby boom. Primarily a reward to those who are actively involved in real life and bringing new people. Then a command center to receive these new citizens. A welcome message is not enough. A program in which young people should be fed and armed. Frankly, I stayed in this game for the first day because I received a donation from Tommot ... but also because the same day I found my fathers Visa card and the Pin Twisted Evil

Being armed and well fed I grew up fast, I get the idea of the game and so I was infected with eRepublik virus.
So bring this topic back into discussion. Waiting for opinions, waiting for new ideas, or at least tell me to let it go. I expect you to get involved ... what else to do . It's not enough that we just fight for others? That's all we can get out from this game ???

We should create a list of games like Erep to register on it and send MP to (Belgian) players. We could get gold and new citizens...

I don't think a reward would be constructive. People would just ask their friends to create an account to receive the reward.

I stayed in this game for the first day because I received a donation from Tommot

There are the citizens packs and the supplies donated by the BTA. I managed to survive without getting any donations from other users. You just have to learn how to use your golds smartly. If the admins called that "gold", that means it is a rarer ressource. If people spend them in battles and in health pack...well... they should meditate about themselves Very Happy

There are lot of things which could affected on Baby Boom. There could be war with eNL (if they will/would been rebeleted) and then this news would give in some web pages and link for register too and baby boom would be here. But question is how to hold new players in eBE, cause if here would be peacefully like now, they would go away or stopped playing.

well, when a new citizen is in, we start a conversation with him, we invite him on forum, we keep him entertained. We make donation to him, we tell him how to spend the gold. Only a welcom message is not enough.

I have to disagree, and I know what I am talking about because I am "new", those things are provided if we look for it and even when we look for it, the process is kinda slow and except some welcomes, we need to provide a real help to new people, and a lot of informations on the game are outdated by the way.
