Culture & Sports
As some know already, I'm trying to bring some new aspects to the eBelgian game, such as culture and sports. That's why we have opened the first virtual museum & art centre, Dawn Studios.
Feel free to visit it via http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/expansions-exhibitions-excitement-1556861/1/20
During the Halloween season, it airs the horror classic Nosferatu (no seriously, it does, have a look...)
Another idea is to bring sports to the game:
Nothing brings out nationalism better than a national football team. It unites inhabitants despite their differences, in the love for the game.
eSports can be a fun part of an e-international game such as eRepublik.
I’ve been doing some research and there are some technical possibilities available on the web that could actually make this possible.
(http://www.footiemanager.com/ is one of them and seems a good example)
Why not establish an eBelgian national soccer team (the first!) and challenge other countries to do so too ?
Or why not have organizations with their own soccer team and create a pure eBelgian League of our own ?
It might appeal to players and add yet another aspect to the game (and give eNewspapers something to write about).
Thoughts ?

Re: Culture & Sports
lovely culture website, nosferatu is lovely ^^
about sports: do you know how that that football game works? e.g. is everyone a manager or is everyone a player who can become potentially a manager?

I don't have time to do that on top of this too lolz :p
Or we could join easy and not much time demanding games (such as travian and tribalwars and stuff xD Then we'll have no community left^^)

I find the idea very interesting. I remember back in eCanada we had some kind of a virtual simulated Hockey League. Players attribute such as speed, finesse and hockey sens were based on our citizen attribute such as our work skill, military skill and so on.

Re: Culture & Sports
With sports you mean everything with competition?
