I read it and talking at the moment with one of it's members who want citizenship. he said he talked Mittekemuis and ThomasRed

I am suspicious of their true motives, especially if a large group of them want citizenship. I would be reluctant to allow their acceptance.

Well, I think that we should ask from the both susquoted

If we accept some requests from the unit here, we must look the ask from others too ( i think about persons who come from Russia). It's a real problem. it's better to prove their motivation, we can't accept all persons.

it's hard for us at the moment, we must be suspicious. It will be better after the cp elections i think.

Truth is Hungary and Bulgaria have already been infiltrating our country through citizenships and untraceable multis...

My major point of contention here is the difference between this group and the Argentine group that requested a move through TR a few weeks ago. We should debate this at length before responding and hold all citizenship approvals until after we make a decision. I am not totally convinced that this ReNiew is not a multi or operating multis, as there is also a Re_Niew in Serbia.

He wants to be in the community so he could hardely be a PTOer.

They fought for us.
They're offering MT's to support our agreement with eNL.
ReNiew looks like a RL Hungarian (who can't stand the Romanians IRL).
There are other countries that are easier to PTO i think.
They look genuine to me.

On one hand, fighting in one or two of our battles and handing out free stuff doesn't proove anything. On the other hand, things like these can only be made sure with time, and eBelgium is in desperate need of fresh, motivated citizens, newborns or immigrants alike.

I think he might be a PTOer, I mean, When I was with some friends to friendly PTO Switzerland, we got involved in the community to gain their trust so we would get information. I haven't done it since because I didn't want to betray them and so I didn't. He's either keen or very suspicious, just keep an eye on him for now.

Agreed, it is very naive to think you can give somebody citizenship and if he person turns out to be a bad person easily solve the situation.

These are the objective criteria for citizenship that i can see:

- social involvement in the community (forum, newspaper, ...)
- economic investment in the country, no economic sabotage
- military: fighting for the country along MoD's orders
- no deceit or double-talk
- a 'buffer time' of a certain number of days before considering applications
- if applicable, having previously left eBelgian citizenship in good standing

What else could someone do to earn our trust? If we're too strict, wouldn't we make people afraid of trying to become eBelgian? What if a Congress Member decides to grant citizenship unilaterally?

You either play it safe and keep your country, or take a risk and have a chance in getting a population boom or loosing control of your country, your call.

Bit of a false dilemma, if you ask me.

It's a sliding scale, and it's up to us to find the balance mentioned above. Maybe a list (like the one from The Bever) could be made up by the minister of Immigration, as "his set of guidelines". Not really a rule, but kind of checkmarks.
