This is a new error message for me. When reloading the page (F5), it worked again.

Yeah we can. But this will only be temporary. And this would allow us to make some profits also^^.

And it's a temporary huge gap that won't last for long.

Why not let the private parties take the risks and stand the probablity of capitalistic profit? We need our BEF as strategic reserves.

Risk? Which Risk? Printing BEF cost us 0.005 gold. If we sell all our BEF at 0.006 we can print new BEF. There are absolutely no problems with that.

Moreover this'll rise the amount of BEF that people can invest and thus they'll be richer. I don't see any reason to let the market up.

I don't see a crisis here, since:
- Jofroi, less than 2 hours after your pm about the subject, we replied with a motivated decision why the NBB-BNB didn't intervene as of now, neither to try to increase nor to try to decrease the BEF value.
- Why would we print 200 BEF per gold if we can put gold on the market for 300-350 BEF as of now?
- There's no indication yet we will be able to sell the BEF... then if we have that "cheap" gold, should we sell it for even less BEF? Because your proposal makes sense only if you know for sure that the BEF value will plunge afterwards.

Don't print the BEF. Just sell it and once it's done, print it. We've enough stocks for that.

And if we put BEF on the market forever, it'll plunge at the end.

No one is buying BEF at 200 gold ea anyway.

Like Beaver said, best would be to sell gold rather than print BEF, but probably best to keep that gold for MPP, the war chest, or other country operations.

I tried to stabilize the MM 2-3 months ago.

Just look at the belgian balance sheet and cry.
